Ron Offutt Talks Farming on the Agriculture Technology Podcast

In that partnership, Ron learned the ins and outs of farming and inherited his father’s entrepreneurial spirit, one that led him to make the risky but fateful decision to acquire his first John Deere dealership - the origin of RDO Equipment Co.
Now, Ron notes how much has changed in the industry since then, from increased production demand to breakthrough technologies that have pushed the industry forward.
“To anyone today thinking about joining the agriculture industry, it’s always exciting. I would be more apt to enter the ag business today than the day I did because of the opportunities that exist today and will exist tomorrow and beyond,” Ron tells Tony.
