Condolences to members of the jazz fraternity that played with Charlie Watts over the years too. Jazz was his first love. Then came the 'Stones from the age of 21. Called them his family.

Most likely because his career stats just don't measure up. I appreciated his efforts in helping Denny McLain win 31 games in 1968 along with a great World Series triumph over Bog Gibson and a very talented St.Louis Cardinals team.

@@jeanvisockis1347 If Bill had a Free HanD he's slap you with his 11 All-Star games. This along with a Johnny Bench type batting average .262 (Bench .267). Thurman Munson should also be considered considering the sudden end to a career .292 batting average and 7 All-Star games and counting...

It hurts to see so many of the ppl I grew up with leaving this plane! We are to join together at the instance of our demise. Since we are made of energy, “to energy we return…” this consciousness leaves but we never die! Cannot wait to meet all my loved ones again! To all those who serve and who have gone on saving my way of life, I honor you! Thank you for giving all you do for us…
