Bill Cobbs. Prolific actor and with his easy, laid back style, always enjoyable to watch.
Agreed. He was such a great actor (he was so 'believable'). R.I.P., Bill.
Bill Cobbs the Man who shot Nino Brown [New Jack City]
Loved Bill Cobbs .. he was great
R.I.P Mr. Bill Cobbs! You were such an amazing actor! 😢😢😢😢
He was my parents favorite actor and has been in over 100 shows. This is why I view the Legacy tribute every week now and the one TCM makes at the end of the year, both the best source knowing when a well known actor or actress have passed away.
" I know what you did last summer " , I ❤ed him in that movie too
I think Cobbs also played Dr. Erikson on "Enterprise". I thank him-and other veterans who served in our military as my dad was an Army veteran and my brother is a Navy veteran as well.
I remember him best from I'll fly away. Great actor!
He was in my favorite Laurence Fishburne movie Always Outnumbered, RIP Bill Cobbs.
The loss of Bill Cobbs really hurts. He nailed every role he was in and brought authenticity to the character. May he rest in peace. 😢
RIP Spencer Milligan. I was a big fan of Land of The Lost when I was a child.
Me to I have the whole series on DVD
The Sleestaks . Land of the Lost
I was also a fan of the show. I liked the family closeness portrayed.
Me too.
Yes it was definitely one of my favorite shows as a child.😢
Mr Cobbs was great in Night in the Museum, along with Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney. R.I.P. 😢❤🙏🏼
Yes! 👏
That’s the first thing I thought of too!
❤❤❤
Mr. Bill Cobbs you will be remembered. A great actor!!!
Rest in peace, Bill Cobbs. He was an outstanding actor. I loved him in everything he played in. Continue to rest in peace, Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. May everyone here rest in peace.
Rest easy legendary actor Bill Cobbs, what a great man and performer!
Bill Cobbs was a great actor. I remember his role in New Jack City among his many roles. He lived long, 90 years is a beautiful age. May he rest in peace. 🙏🏾
Yessss ! The ending of that movie was epic ! With him portraying his part in the movie .
It’s interesting to note that many of the men who passed away that were in their 80’s were veterans of the United States military. Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary of my father’s death, he was a veteran of the armed forces having attained the rank of captain in the US Army. I have so much respect for all those who have served their country. May they all rest in peace.
8:25 - 8:58
RIP to Mr. Cobbs.
I'll never forget that he was the kinder and more wiser replacement coach in Air Bud.
He also had a part as the boyfriend of the grandmother of Shawn and Marlon on the TV show The Wayans Bros.
Great underappreciated thespian he was.
😔👏👏👏
So long, sir.
Rest easy to everyone, especially Bill Cobbs. I don't recall seeing his death announcement anywhere but here, so thank you, Legacy.
RIP to some of my favorite celebrities… Shifty, Mr Cobbs, the Wild Samoan… the dad from Land of the Lost.. man it’s been a tough week.
Just a personal side-note. Thank you to this channel for being respectful and non-judgmental on causes of death. Some people die of natural causes and others die with long-term or unexpected illness or for personal reasons. Everyone has their own story, public or private, so it's commendable to respect each individual circumstance. RIP to all.
❤
Ah, so not matter how irresponsibly or recklessly some lived or how many lives they destroyed because of said behavior, we should remain demure and respectful?
@@roberthuff3122like there's nowhere else you could go to hear such people trashed if that's what you want to hear?? There's an infinite supply of that around.
My drug-addled brothers destroyed my family and my parents. Not all lives are worth being remembered and memorialized. While the channel is morbidly entertaining, many of these passing are without context. There are lessons to be learned.

Mr. Cobbs loved you in the Bodyguard with Whitney Huston and Kevin Costner. RIP
R.I.P. Bill Cobbs. Loved his performance alongside Mark Harmon in For All Time. 90 years is a great run.
Loved Bill Cobbs in everything he did; he made whatever he was in better. I knew he was getting up there in age and would check from time to time if he was still alive (and feel good about it). Very sorry to learn of his passing. Thanks for a respectful send off.
I used to love to watch Land of The Lost. RIP Spencer Milligan.
RIP Bill Cobbs… “a bag of smashers”, that line always cracked me up. You said it with such aplomb that you knew they were nuts.
I ran into Bill Cobbs several times at a restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and we’d casually have a drink. One of the nicest gentlemen I’ve ever met.
So sad to see so many younger people on this week's list. 😢 Thank you for helping us remember them all and be able to pay our respects. 🙏
😔
This channel is , by far, the most professional and respectful obituary channel on CZcams. RIP to those mentioned on today's video.

The Lurie Children’s Hospital saved my life when I was 24 hours old and again when I was 13 months old. I had to have 2 heart surgeries when I was 24 hours old and again when I was 13 months old.
Bill Cobbs and Spencer Millligan played characters and appeared in programs that helped shape me and make me a better person. Thank you!

So sad, so many suicides, the industry needs to address this. Whether an actor, singer, artist, sports etc. It's not the life people think it is. It takes so many😢
Taylor Wiley on 5-0 made that show. Something great was missing when he wasn't in the script.
So true. Couldn't help but smile when he'd be on. Such a loss 😢
Very true! RIP, "Kamekona"! 😢🎉
R.I.P. Bill Cobbs
(aka Zack Lam in the movie "Demolition Man")
We'll see you again in the Spirit World. 🌈🌈🕯🕯💗💗
I just heard about Kinky Friedman this morning. I didn't think he would be mentioned this week. I never heard of him until he announced that he was running for Governor of Texas against then Governor Rick Perry in 2006
I voted for Kinky. Demolition Man was a fun movie, Bill Cobb was one of those great character actors where I didn't know the name but I knew the face.
God Rest and God Bless
Don't forget Bill Cobbs was in Oz The Great And Powerful.
Good Morning…you missed Dr. John Mcdougall…who passed away June 22, 2024.
Thank you for posting this. I was going to do the same. He was a wonderful man who helped so many. I had the privilege of meeting him and Mrs. McDougall in Portland, OR in 2013. May he Rest In Peace. He’ll be missed.
The Sopranos somehow made me believe that Bill Cobbs died some 25 years ago. The power of TV. Kinky Friedman should be recognized as a progressive iconoclast. May all RIP.

I know you only talk about people who have passed, but we also lost Billi, the 14 year old cat who used buttons to speak. Her channel is called Billi Speaks.
This channel keeps me humble and reminds me I must die one day . . .
I think like that too. I am 65, very happy and healthy, but this is a good reminder that life is a gift and anything can change in a moment's notice. 🙏
I would like to give thanks and gratitude to the producers of these noteworthy productions.

Taylor Wily was born in 1968. Not 1969

Always great
