properly tuned twin carbs are easy to start and deal out great low end torque with a rocket ship top end. love the twin carbs, they are also a shorter stroke motor making them more rev happy.
Im so happy to find this channel! Got a Honda Xr600r from 1986 and been looking for parts for years so the list you provided is gold for me!! Thanx 🙏
Your videos are so ecstatically pleasing, great colours, awesome places and light is on point. Love the rug too. Videos are also awesome, you set the fascination for the xt600 in me weeks ago and no i had to buy one. Save travels!
Haha thanks allot my friend! Great to hear! Owning a XT600 already??
@@bringthekickback Yes. couldn't hold back and bought a 1vj on sunday

The bar lifter is a must, im 1,75m and standing on these bikes i cant reach the bars if im not in a very uncomfortable position.
There’s people in MX world swearing they steer worse because of them. And adventure riders who think they break to easily. Myself I like riding with them! Cheers, Wes
You didn’t post the recommended stator in the comments ;)
Where in hell is "the description" with the list of recommended items....?? Maybe I am to stupid to find it. .where can this be found...
And another question, which carb is the most recommended ? My motorbike has a no-name product installed...sometimes overflooding
Hi Wessel, thanks for these last few videos. I bought my own Xl600R a few months ago which I am now restoring. I can't wait to get it running. Thanks for these additional modifications/tips!
Ik heb nog een andere vraag, wanneer komen de DESERT DELUXE SPARKPLUG TEE en de CLASSIC ZIP SWEAT BLACK weer terug in voorraad? Jullie Merch is namelijk echt Kikke 🤘. Thanks!
Dank Vincent🙏 super tof! Veel plezier met de restauratie!
De deluxe shirts zijn we hart aan aan het werk. Kan nog een maand duren helaas. De zipsweats zijn er wel weer 🤟🤟
Like you Video and own Style of making it. And usefull informations! Thanks. But i will buy an xr400r instead 😅
Thanks mate! The xr400 also is a brilliant choice 🤙
in my part of the world xr400r were the ones that consistently put people in hospital and ended riding,(dont get me wrong!the 400 was a great trailbike!! i liked riding it as one...but when you really pushed them they bit very hard.. in my own observations!!.....plus the many that blew 3rd gear.....same as the 600 in the desert...)i loved my 250r and 600r!everyones different and if its 2 wheels its got to be good!!
Cool videos on the xr series,I have a 650r supermoto, was wondering if anybody knows where I could find a set of passenger foot pegs??
Hi mate! Awesome! Have you checked our list below?
@@bringthekickbackye I checked them all mate and can’t find any unfortunately
@@dublinbikereire passenger pegs, hmmm they probably don’t have them new. Then second hand would be your only chance
@@bringthekickbackye there like gold dust haha can’t seem to find any new or secondhand but il keep looking 👍🏻
Thank you.....I hope connecting it properly will not be a challenge....😂
Haha nah, it’s easy. Just make sure to get the right one! And use liquid gasket around the rubber that goes around the wires.
@bringthekickback good tip...will do once I have the right spare....do you believe the investment will really improve starting behaviour? I mean it's 260 bucks....is it worth it?
@@djfloet for me it did the trick. Started. Very bad before, now easy. But it’s also possible the starting troubles are in your carb or in your valve clearance. So it’s cheaper to first fix that. I used the electro port stator. €195. The rubber has 1 extra hole for a wire we don’t have which you have to fill with gasket.
What improves the starting provedure, did not catch it...a high output .... what ? Stater? Sorry, I am from Germany and own a XR 600 from 1992...sometimes hard to start....
Hi my friend! Yes an high output stator! The dynamo. There’s a list in the comments with which one you should get.
Hey! Ive been interested in getting a honda XR600R (after getting my licence) for a while now but as i'm a beginner i feel like it might be a bit too much. do you have any recommendations for similar bikes that are more for beginners and that are easilly/cheaply available in the Netherlands (its sounds like you're from here) Thanks in advance!
Hé man! we made a video about off-road motorcycles for beginners. Try out a XR250, NX650, XT600 or XT350
@@bringthekickback Ahh i didn't know! Thank you!!
Next on for the carpet xlv or xrv the big brother ❤
May have to borrow your bike for that 😜
@@bringthekickback no problem let me know where and when you want it il be there i,ve been working on a second one but i keep that one full original
Found it 😅😅😅😅
