I think your Mom did a fantastic job with her makeup. When I was in my 20's and 30's I never took my makeup off at night either. And I never put lotion on my neck until I read you needed to when I was in my 50's. Can't believe that. But back then there was no youtube only magazines to learn from and I didn't buy them because they were too expensive. I look pretty good for 75 considering I also went tanning for so many years as I lived in the NW and got very little sunshine. I love how she influenced Christopher to do what he does now. Fabulous story. Loved it.

I’m 54 and I stopped putting on makeup a few years ago because I gained weight, look older and don’t want to put it on wrong with my face shape being so different. But I’m learning I need to so I can start feeling better, and more confident. I’m so glad I found these videos of you both.

I got a beautiful, flattering haircut for the 1st time in my life (I'm 66) a little over a month ago and started watching these videos on a regular basis. It has completely changed my attitude and approach toward myself/taking care of my appearance.
Sometimes it takes a spark from a positive person outside of family and friends to inspire us to remember to put ourselves first again.

Does that stay on all day, every day? The reason why I ask, is that I could never get used to them. I am forced to fix my own hair, which I feel is a real chore. I love your relationship with Christopher. Such a special bond.

Very glamorous! My mother was very similar right up to 87 when she passed. We were on our way to emergency (she was in pain from terminal cancer) within 12 hours of her death and she was putting face makeup on when the ambulance got there!!! Miss her every day.

Christopher, I remember meeting your Mom, & Dad at Loring Green, when I was the front reception desk! Your folks were so Jazzy, & Sparkly, going to a little condo concert! Your Momma looks at least 25 yrs. younger than her numbers say, & her personality-forever young!!

She does, but she's had one or more facelifts. Not one line around or under her eyes. Her cheeks are where they should be, and not sunken! That is not her natural 78 year old face. Good for her x

Oh Christopher my mother wore Estée Lauder in pebble. She was a winter and was so beautiful. They become makeup professionals after doing their own makeup for many years. Watching your mother has blessed me because she's so beautiful as my mother was & still is. My mother has Alzheimer's now and can't do her makeup anymore but your mother is so much like her. They are old school they know what works & they stick with it. I kept seeing my own mom doing her makeup. This was a wonderful video! 😊

JoAnn you are beautiful! This proves that you don't have to look and act old, EVER. I get discouraged when I see older women with the short granny hair, no style, no makeup, frumpy granny clothes. They talk old, walk old...doesn't need to be that way. Thanks for the lift! My Mom was a hairdresser, and I loved to sit and watch people get hair makeovers! Love you too, Christopher!
Just stunning!!!!!! She did all that every day, not to go out, but to do housework, rake, etc. She did it for herself, and for her self esteem. I think that is just awesome. She gave me a boost! And, she inspired her son!

She's an artist at heart. ❤ She understands symmetry, color, balance and more. Her styling in clothing is SCRUMPTIOUS. Hope she knows God loves her as much plain as made up. Personally I love makeup, nice clothes etc.; however at this point in life I am so fat now, (fibromyalgia, inactivity, pain), nothing would help much...lol. People DO respond more to those who seem to care about themselves though, no matter the size.

She does her makeup like mine except I don't typically do the lashes and it takes me about 20 minutes as well. But she looks ah-maz-ing 😍
