I had a Braun Multiquick years ago. It wasn't this particular model, but it worked very well. The cord started to fray so I took it to a fix-it shop. He broke the speed dial but it still worked OK for a couple of years after that. Then I got the Breville immersion blender. I love both it and the Braun, and I would buy another Braun is something happened to the Breville one. Glad you're liking your blender, and your soup looks delicious!

I just got this exact model on sale recently and love it! I often make lots of thick soups and curries that involve blended vegetables (my favorite is palak paneer along with creamy tomato basil soup). Previously, I always made large batches to feed a family and my blender was too small to fit everything so it was a real pain transferring the hot vegetables to the blender, blend, transfer blended results to another pot, repeat. With the immersion blender, I can just blend the vegetables directly in my original large pot and that's such a huge time saver as well as giving me fewer dishes to wash. Now I'm on a veggie and fruit spree always getting excited looking at the grocery store for vegetables and fruits I can blend and turn into a soup or sauce.
I haven't tried other immersion blenders to compare how well this one works to others, but it works more than well enough for my use cases. I haven't played with the other attachments much yet but the whisk attachment will probably come in handy soon for me (I'm used to hand-whisking everything).
Agree, such a time saver and I hear ya on transferring hot veggies to the blender!!! I use my immersion blender at least once a week and I'm sure even more now that it's soup season! Thanks for watching!! ❤😀❤

That Braun immersion blender sure does a great job with soup. I’m looking to get one mostly for the soups and smoothies. When I make the soup I’ll probably won’t blend it as much as you did, I’ll leave some more chunks of veggies in it.
That is so homogenous and it look easy to use. Looks good! I always have chunks in my blender, and I hate over blending.

*** HELLO, I just received a BRAUN IMMERSION BLENDER, I NOTICED the BLADES ARE IN AN ANGLE = ONE SIDE OF THE BLADE HIGHER THAN THE OTHER...IS THIS RIGHT ???
Love it! Are you vegan? I love using an immersion blender, but the one I have is very difficult to use! I love that this one has a whisk and looks easy to use. I might have to get one!
Yes I'm vegan! And I haven't tried the whisk yet but I'm about 4 batches of potato cheeze in and still loving it!
Can you froth milk for lattes???????
Yes! I was going to test that out with the whisk attachment but I was out of coffee creamer!
