I would become a butcher just to say "Ahhh, fresh meat!" every time a customer comes into the store.
LMAO
are u ms. trunchbull lol wtf
Papa Chief lol, I was talking like Diablo's butcher, but Ms. Trunchbull sounds funny too.
pudge? from dota 2
he said that since the original dota
"is she still chewing as well?" savage Gordon xDD
Dennn 13 "no but she can still swallow"
chef ramsey with the quickness!
Best roast of the century 😂
That line got me in tears! “Looks like pair of Dr. Martins”
Dennn 13 I
Gordon: "Is she still chewing?"
Boy: "Nah, she swallows"
epic joke dudebro! totally what he said!
😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀
Girl: it was like a little peanut
Sounds lewd
so i have to touch gordon ramsays face everytime i want to know if my steak is done?
Your own
Or use a digital thermometer without any guess work.
Jolie Aranda wooosh
@@joliearanda6481 /RWOOSH
Or use your fingers and palm
that rare medium well done trick is genius
your your fingers and palm instead. no need to touch your face
What if someone has a really fat cheek and chin? You steak would turn out raw!
+KyleDangerAdams lol
It's bad. If you're working with food you shouldn't be touching your face for one. Second, the "use your flesh to compare" be it what he showed or the palm method, is inconsistent because we are not the same.
Chris Spellman
Exactly! People's hands and faces are different and different cuts of meat feel different from one another even at the same doneness.
"And she's still chewing?" Hahahahahaa
That was a good one! LOL
+Mark Alejo no shite hahah
Actually, she's more accustomed to swallowing
Ben Giguere lmao
"They love a good butcher" I love this man, I wanna hangout at the pub with this man
Ever thought of becoming a *butchah*?
w
*boochah*
Women love a good *butchah.*
Bicher
My brother is a meat cutter and he says it's one of the worst jobs he's ever had
"Is she still chewing as well?" I fucking love Gordon Ramsay
Legend says she's still chewing up to today
Lmao
chewing his meat...
+machende mulu L
Shut your fucking mouth.
+Mack Vongsa wow, who shat on your steak
0:29
"Where do you get your meat from?"
"Testicles."
Next day news :
*BUTCHER RATES RISE 5000%*
Women love a man who can handle his meat.
+Jizz Fandango Sounds like you handle your meat a bit too much buddy
+PONYBOYonline XD
Jizz Fandango well my hand is in my meat now...where's my bitches?
Jizz Fandango with a name like 'jizz fandango', I'm sure you know your stuff haha
Jizz Fandango 😂
I love the sound of the word butcher
Andras Kovacs Doesn't it sound a bit like what the job entails?
Cutting, and chopping; all those hard sounds.
I find it interesting that you said that.
1:25
He looks like someone who's come directly from the 90s
These videos intrigue me so much. I'm still in high school and I live in a town where just about everything is overcooked, burnt, or just not good. I don't even like half the stuff Gordon makes, but I just love how he cooks.
2:27 Gordon attempting Instant Transmission through his forehead wrinkle chakra
Doesn't Work so tries it on the steak too :D
Vaeltaja haha lol nice
I chortled
Vaeltaja you mean Chi? This isn't Naruto!
DriceYT It's Chakra you ninny
This inspired me to make ramen noodles
*Wow, ramen noodles!*
with steak?
It's still too raw!
are you still chewing
Same dude same XS
"And she is still chewing aswell?"
@Car Ram-Rod Yea, i am very proud of myself aswell.
Bro he blew my mind with that meat rarity technique.
Touching the face is actually kinda dumb for testing rarity. All steaks are different and everyone's face is different as well. It dont something I think inexperienced cooks should do. I'd recommend a meat thermometer or touching the steak before and after its cooked
She might still be chewing, but when was the last time you heard of a 17 year old boy cooking for his girlfriend? That's a sweet boy.
Honestly? About yesterday... But still
Cool Blue Well that's nice.
I never dated as a teenager. *forever alone*
I feel ya
+reicirith I do a lot of the work...it gets me the stuff! Plus, i don;t think she should have to do the cooking or cleaning. She can if she wants but I never ask her to.
I'm a 17 y/o boy. I can cook. But no girlfriend :(
"Is she still chewing?". Lmao! 😂 I lost it. Spat coffee all over myself.
2:05 That was the perfect chance to say, "because they know how to handle their meat." xD
My great grandfather served in WWI and was a butcher. My grandfather served in WWII and was also a butcher. I wanted so badly to be a butcher and to be the only one that followed in their footsteps. It's just a dying breed here in the states. They were butchers in Rome Georgia. My parents moved us to Florida when I was 3 right after my grandfather died so learning anything in that field would have been impossible. Oh well, would have been cool to make them proud.
"Is she still chewing as well"
Xtariz but do she swallow doe
I read this right when he said it what a consequence
yes yes what a consequence right?
Nick Fury damn same, weird consequence
XD
Thank you Gordon Ramsay. Now every time I cook meat i'll be touching my face to see how done it is and my mom will walk in like "What the fuck are you doing?" LMFAO
And you end up with your face full of spices and smelling like beef..
To be honest, I'd rather smell like steak than literally anything else. It would be a rather good way to mess with people.
Gordon is really such a good dude. Passionate, driven, and a complete smart ass. But a really good dude, cares about what he does and tries to help people learn. Hats off to him.
I loved Ramsey's interaction with these guys.
Well, at least he was not able to say: "It's RAW!!!!"
I would gladly buy from a butcher but...
1, We don't have one where I live
2, They charge up the ass when I find one in another city
eh, i work in a meat dept, and cut ribeyes and tbones no extra charge all the time, its no charge, atleast not in the middle of alabama :)
len1039 I'll be sure to visit your shop when I'm in the heart of Crimson country then. Just don't try and kill me for being a Dawg.
People needs to get themselves to meat markets early in the mornings like Smithfields and get value in bulk
I have a question. I'm from Florida which has a supermarket called Publix. Publix has a meat section, where the meat is cut daily. I looked a bit further in, and Publix doesn't refer to the workers here as butchers but "meat cutters". Is that the same thing? I looked at the requirements and it days that the person had to be experienced in Publix Meat Cutter Apprentice (or something like that), and should have an understanding of a variety of meat cuts, as well as be able to provide a customer with information or a specific cut. That sounds like what a butcher would do, but I once read somewhere that butchers and meat cutters are different professions. That butchery requires years of training, but meat cuttery can be learned quickly on the job.
If anyone has some better information, our article, please let me know or send me a link.
JuanDVene ... I worked as a meat manager for the Kroger company for 8 years grocery stores classified us as Cutters because we do not break down the entire animal we are given sides and pieces to cut . Bleachers break down the entire animal and then the sides then cut those individuals pieces into cuts to sell.... If you look on CZcams for Don the comic book junkie he's actually a Publix meat manager in Florida
gordon if you want butcher shops hop over here its so good i love looking at the different cuts and kinds of meat
I love this man he does everything
as Gordon was leaving he says to the butchers: 'Guys you surprised me today..' They respond 'Oh thanks. We gave it 140% and..' 'No, surprised me how shit you are'
whenever you get a compliment, answer with a cold "okay". Just to be sure.
He cooked a steak well done and Gordon didn't destroy him? I'm disappointed
cause well done steak is the best way to have steak
+runeboyz7 r u fukn insane?!
+Aneesh Akella not at all. wanna eat raw meat? then why cook it? idk about you but the taste of blood makes me wanna puke and with all the diseases in meat now. I'm taking now chances
K but it loses most flavor after med rare so ....
+Aneesh Akella called seasoning and steak sauce.
awesome video chef,I remember going to the butcher with my grandmother, good memories.
Very nice to see encouragement for young people to get into cutting meat it is a fine skill to possess
English butchers should come down to Texas, people here would love to get their meat cuts from skilled professionals.
FTG I live in KY too.
Whereabouts in KY?
Landy Fischer Near Lexington. I don't want to give you my whole location, you understand.
up here in PA we'd kill for a local butcher, nearest wal-mart is 45 minutes away and the local grocers just can't provide quality cuts of meat. I just want some quality steak dammit.
gary b move somewhere that doesn’t suck as much.
"we need more young butchers"
**rips young butcher to shreds about his cooking**
MrGrizmint I want to be a butcher
MrGrizmint Well the guy is training to be a butcher, not a chef. It looked like they were all just having a good time, joking around. We all know Ramsay will unload on people who actually need to be put in their place.
The difference between a butcher and a supermarket is, in a supermarket you only get to choose from what they have, if you go to a Butcher you can order in specific cuts, i dont want what supermarkets offer i mean a 8 ounce steak? whats that?......i'll go the butcher and ask him to get me two 20 ounce Ribeye steaks on the bone, order them in and go back in 3 days, when they come you have fantastic local produce, try getting that at the supermarket!
The other thing is when you buy from a butcher you are helping 1 man feed his family, when you buy from a supermarket you are helping multi millionaires with 6 yachts stay as multi millionaires with 6 yahts! ....You gotta have some morals!
Well you are also helping hundreds of staff keep their jobs and suppliers in business.
I agree, I always prefer the local butcher, they ARE asian, they do a great job!
Ya? How many working class people depend on their paychecks that are only there because of those large companies owned by millionaires? Supermarkets go out of business and close all the time, how many people lose their life as they know it without their employment. The hating on big business excuse is a little tired in 2018.
Lose.
Thanks for having that little in your life going on to correct my half asleep spelling. It really changes my life.
I love it when Gordon is on shows that don't depend on him screaming at and insulting the people he is working with. Which honestly seems to be the majority of shows he is on that aren't filmed in the United States... Its kind of sad that to make a show successful here, you need to have a constant stream of drama and insults, rapid fire editing, made up drama, and some conflict advancing the plot every 5 seconds so the average viewer with a 3 second attention span doesn't loose the plot and switch channels. God forbid we have a show where we see Gordon actually teaching people who WANT to learn and improve! I mean hell, why would us Americans want to see an actual quality cooking show when we can see Gordon screaming about the Risotto being raw and kicking all of the chefs out of the kitchen?!
Here in Australia, there's a show called My Kitchen Rules, and its pretty much just a reality show with cooking lol
How do you 'loosen' the plot?
It's the same reason why Americans get served overly creamy indian food, high fructose corn syrup soda and corn syrup maple
That's America for you. You can see the same problem in our TV news
i HATED gordon ramsey. until i saw his burger video. i rarely meet people with that kind of passion for a cheeseburger. earned my respect there. then i see videos like this where hes so damn pleasant and witty. i think who is this guy? i feel robbed with all the crap they put on tv here.
gordon walks around and talks like he really has to pee
That's his persona. I always walks like that.
It the words of a guy who was interviewed about Chef Ramsey "Its like he has a firecracker up his ass"
It think lt's the cocaine.
rocketduck44 Nah m8
"is she's still chewing as well?" lol
1:21 cracks me up everytime
Gordon: Have you ever thought about becoming a butcher?
Football kid: No
Gordon: Why not?
Football kid: Cause it sMeLLs
To die for. Made my day. I’lldo that. Thanks for sharing, Mr.
I'm the only one touching the face??

I was wondering what the fuck this meant and then it got to that part. Face touching all around.

I happened to met that girl two days ago, and she's still chewing.
I read the title as "Chef Ramsay Teaches Amateur Bitches How to Cook A Perfect Steak - Gordon Ramsay"
He comes up with the funniest stuff to say.
SCOTLAND FOREVER!
Here in Winnipeg we have lots of butcher shops still open.
gorden is a sharp and very witty man i wish i had half his knowledge
why not all of it
+Derping Flamingo half would be more than enough for some.
Good segment to help out butchers and a few tips on a good steak =)
You saved my Valentine's Day dinner at home with your New York Strip Steak tutorial. Many thanks for the videos.
Love you Gordon! Thank you for your tips
"And she's still chewing as well?" REKT!
legend has it... his girlfriend is still chewing on that steak to this very day...
Love your shows sir!
That was awesome. We have a lack of butchers in the US as well. Good on you to promote the trade of butchering. An art to say the least. A craft that is so vital to culinary excellence.
bootcha
I wish I could buy my meat from a butcher. Unfortunately I don't have that option where I live. So I just have to blindly trust whatever sap decided to cut my steak at Wal-Mart.
You could go to the local Asian markets, they have fresh uncut meat of all kinds. Seafood too!
Ironcladcraph13 I live in West By God Virginia.... We don't have an Asian market lol. Sometimes we will buy half a cow off of our neighbor who raises them or when it's deer season I can hunt to get some fresh venison. For all the other times tho, the only place to buy meat is from Piggly Wiggly or Wal-Mart
Wish there was a piggly wiggly where i live :/
Do West Virginians not have any fucking shame? Like, seriously, it's like you had this god-tier hunting culture and then McDonalds and Burgerking pops up and they're like, "Eyyyy, fuck good food."
Seriously, my town has the same problem. We live 5 minutes away from the West Virginia border. Also, God send the flood to WV in order to kill the retards.
t. Alleghany County resident.
+primoshunter I dont think he was insulting you personally or anything, more that they traded butchers for walmarts n McDonald's n stuff.
"Is she still chewing as well?" XD Savage.
I don't know about the rest of the UK but up north around Greater Manchester we love our Butcher shops! I go to the local at least once a week.
'Did you cook this for your girlfriend? Is she still with you? Is she still chewing as well?' hehe xD
Gordon Ramsey invented the word 'savage'
That's my favorite part of the neighborhood is hitting the meat shop around the corner. Great team that knows their work and great quality at a better price than the supermarkets. Living in the fishing capitol of the US is great, but when you rely more on your butcher than your fishmonger, no econo-super-extra-value-chain supermarket will ever do.
Gordon Ramsy! I Love your cooking ways so much! It looks so appetising!
Need more people like that.
butchers are one of the best kept secrets in cooking far better quality meat in a butcher shop. you can get cuts of meat you don't get in a super market and they have far more variety of meat. and the absolute best most fine meat out there.
"is she still chewing as well" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
whatarethoose92 #BURRRRNNN
Got em
This commercial is the only ad ill never skip
That's good work Mr. Ramsay
Wasn't he supposed to teach Amateur Butchers How to Cook A Perfect Steak?
Seems like they already knew how...
They did ALL WRONG!
1. Season your steak.
2. Heat up the cast iron skillet.
3. Throw in a nice pat of butter-NOT OIL.
4. Let the butter burn until it turns brownish black and is smoking.
5. Gently lay your steak with tongs in the hot skillet to sear for a minute or two depending on the thickness.
6.Flip steak and sear the other side for a minute or two depending on thickness and how done you want your steak.
7. Put finished steak on a plate and let sit for 5 to 7 minutes to let the juices set in the meat.
8. Eat that steak. Mmmmmmm.
Now im hungry for a dry aged ribeye...
Home Slice u can use oil
I always go to my local butcher for my meat. It's just cut better and it is always high-grade.
Hey my hometown! Didn't know about his grandads butcher shop, knew he had family from Port Glasgow though.
That’s awesome! I hope more young blokes stateside get into butchery. It’s a vanishing art.
I am one of the few people who want to be a butcher, carving meat was something that I always had a fascination with.
Anton Christin That is disturbing.
Happy to hear you're directing this uh unique fascination in a healthy way.
I am in apprenticeship as a butcher, and I can definetly recommend it. I started in august, and have been working and learning for almost half a year. My education takes 3 and a half years. So I got about 3 years left now.
We have the exact same problem in Denmark. Just in 2018 the shop butchers has closed 18 shops around the country due to the lack of educated butchers and the supermarkets dumping the prices. Im a educated butcher myself and im enjoying the work side of things. But the supermarkets keep dumping the wages aswell so its pretty hard to get a decent wage as butcher in Denmark
@@TheHP1997 Jeg glemte at sige at jeg også er fra Danmark, men jeg er helt enig med dig. Jeg kan i hvert fald fornemme det hvor jeg arbejder
Chef Ramsay is tough, but a culinary genius. You can't help but respect a man who is passionate about his trade.
I would to go to Scotland and learn more about butchering!! I’m a butcher here in Louisville, Ky and I miss it!!
That was a treat
Whenever I hear the word "butcher" I remember Diablo 1
Yep, I always filled with dread whenever my characters entered his area in the Cathedral because he was a freakishly hard boss.
Ah, fresh meat
Barkspawn
Hahah I also called my dog Barkspawn in Dragon Age: Origins!
Barkspawn that's from DOTA sir
wasnt he also in diablo 3 with the fire floors and shit?
This video was filmed with a RAW potato.
+PlasmaKong2 RAW is a pretty good quality.
+PlasmaKong2 yet youtube considers it "hd" xD
Gordon is a great man
Good man Ramsey. Cheers mate. I’m heading to my local butcher as we speak.👏🏽👍🏽🇺🇸
We have something called Broward meat and fish in florida. There is a fish market and a butchery. Along with various Caribbean food products. It's nice to get your food from a place like that.
My local butcher makes amazing Cornish Pasties. As long as I'm here he won't go out of business.
I love you Gordon Ramsey. Class act
Everytime I watch these kinds of vids A UFS AD will always play
the only reason I don't buy from a butcher is because it's so expensive
Uhhhh no its not it's about the same or cheaper. In fact you can negotiate with a butcher and if you see them often they give you discounts as well. Not make up things you never even been too lol.
+Nick Masayekhi Sadly true for the most part, but there are cheap cuts you can get from a butcher that you usually can't find in most supermarkets. I just bought a kilo of quality beef cheeks from a local butcher for a fiver. Happy days! It would suck to lose them.
+Nick Masayekhi I get 5 KG of chicken breasts from my butcher for 30euro. would cost close to double that in a supermarket.
When you go into supermarkets everything is packaged and priced so customers know exactly what they are getting.
Walk into a butchers and its very confusing for somebody not used to it. Butchers need to figure out ways to convey prices of items to customers in a better way.
SteveeSmith ya plus if they know you more you probably get get little price breaks
+Nick Masayekhi don't be cheap, support them
Next video should be "gorden Ramsey goes to random college student dorms to try to cook a nice meal with only the ingredients and tools there"
love it haha sweet boys at the end
I'm watching a Gordon Ramsey ad before a Gordon Ramsey video. One click, 2 things to watch.
I wouldn't mind being a butcher
Dragonblaze butchers should be a job like waiters imo, an available job for teens to practice and those with a knack will stay and become masters of their art.
Edge Is Love, Edge Is Life i dont think so .... you gotta know about the meats look feel and taste so you know what are good cuts ans what arent ..
I wouldn't either, it's just that I definitely have better talents for subjects like computer science, economics, and math, so I'm going into a computer science field.
I don't know any master waiters, only ones that failed to get a career.
As for butchers, I'm torn on the idea of it being an entry level job for teens, on one hand I want to make sure we have good butchers and not low quality cuts done by inexperienced people, on the other hand it'd help to toughen up every teen, which is especially needed in the boys and girls of today, and it teaches a good skill to know in case you need it.
U said it wrong, its pronounced BOOCH-AH
We still buy from our local butchers because its much more cheaper than wrapped ones. And plus, we get some social points and we can haggle prices (if possible).
+Ryetz and It is FRESH.
Totally!
same
1:21 his shirt... AYYYYY!!
Gordon has this kind of humor where he makes a joke and people think he’s joking but he’s serious but in reality his sarcasm is so good that the people watching know he’s joking
it's funny how I was just thinking about what happened to butcher shops then I stumbled upon this video
Damn vegans killing the industry xD
he s non stop roasting everyone😂
I never thought of trying it out
