I agree about Bowen, has to stay, has to be captain too. I'm also bored with Paqueta. Kudus is super and Antonio is indeed rejuvinated.
Irekon there is a decebt core of a team. Get a few better people in to replace those sold and not replaced in Jan.
Upgrades needed in several places and I hope Paquet goes for a decent price to fund it.

I love Coufal and Soucek, but they're Championship level players with Premier League level determination. It takes Soucek two touches where it would take a better player one. They deserve all the praise they get but if we're going to improve they can't be first choice players next season.
At the start of the season I would have given my right arm to keep Paqueta at the club, now I'm starting to get concerned we might actually end up lumbered with him next season. Someone was trying to tell me he's on the same level as Di Canio and Payet. No chance for me.

Payet was the best player we had since Brooking and Devonshire. Rice in there too. Bowen probably in my top 5 now.
Hard for a keeper to come out & command his box with 20 low block players around him. Same for Fabs.

I'm starting to think Paqueta and his agent are starting to wonder what West Ham will do as I'll be surprised if Man City activate his release clause, I can see them putting in a cheeky offer, probably around 60m, you have to be honest nothing his showing at the moment puts him anywhere near a 85m player.

Alvarez. Was my man of the match, coming close behind-him areola?, ,Paqueta, As you mentioned ,had two players marking him most of the game which is giving the other players more space, a bit of credit for that
We definitely got away with one there with the Gakpo incident. No idea what Areola thinks he's doing but the ball is clearly IN play and it took a terrible bit of refereeing from a clearly terrible ref to save Areola's arse and possibly us a defeat. The fact that Taylor restarted the game with an uncontested dropped-ball tells us that the ball was 100% in play when Gakpo went for it. Areola only signaled an injury after the near disasterous embarrassment. That kind of casual complacency is not what we want to be seeing from our guys at this stage in the season. ffs!
