The ability to outplay opponents is the best balance for MMO. For example: you are a dps dagger with insane single target burst, but very squishy against range class, i.e. longbow who can bind and kite you to death. The ability to time your dodge and gain invisibility from it, is an example of outplaying. There is no need to sacrifice your dps for more defenses. I believe you see nothing broken here. Lets apply similar logic for other classes.
Back to your rant about tanks dealing a killing blow. Im not saying tanks being dps here. Theres a slight difference if you notice. As a traditional tank, you can only soak up dmg from others, there is no chance for you to kill anyone else, unless you heavily out gear your opponents. Lets say same power rating here. What is the outplay possibility here for the tank if you can only soak up dmg and nothing else? It will be only a matter of time that a staff or a bow will just run around you and kite you to death. Sure its gonna take longer than other classes, but the end is still the same death. There is no need to play anymore since its the destined outcome. Wouldnt you agree?
Now if we throw a chance for the tank to turn the table, that will be more interesting and worthy to spend your time playing. Its NOT a 1 button godlike instant 1 hit big damage skill like meteror or greatsword's ultimate. That would be a lazy implementation of the idea. Instead, landing 3 curses, over a period of 18 seconds total, will put your would-be killers on edge. They are forced to engage you to kill you faster instead of continue to kite you nonchalantly like its a vacation, because now they have 18-20 seconds left. They still have more time if you cannot land your sleep, even more time if they can press Q to defend when you apply your curse burst. So many chances to outplay each other within the tense 18 - 20 seconds. Now I call that a fun fight 🎉
FYI: curse burst 21s CD, sleep 30s CD, spread the curse skill 42s. Its not like this 18s combo can cash very often, right?
Sword/shield and wand are literally all the top players in arena. It's broken. The clip he played from Arena is from Kanon's recent arena is trash video. Go watch it.
@@lihl2rvn300 for me balance is at last to make closest for every class to have chance to kill each other. Anti class have to be visible only for top 0.5% of server players who master peace them class perfectly. If you saw my previous arena video there I showed top 50 players and there was only one longbow dagger. Only one. 47/50 was xbow sagger and wands. You cant even outgear sword and shield + wand in 1vs1 if he have middle gear nit even min max
@@lihl2rvn300 for first example from the bow. Hide against bow is equal to your death. Not only they have vision skill its also stuns you once its hideout you

Don't worry about that meta,is gonna be exchanging on realise and start,this is end game gear after one year period and you anyway will have unbalance from high tier players and new ,on euro on NA everyone will be same just make sense to learn about armor set and weapons set and melee and range defence
Yea global will be different im sure. But its not only armor and weapon its the mechanic they need to fix for that everything. I think Its time to activate that PVP section which is already installed in game and its visible in character states

Do I understand correctly that PvP is not normalized and it is based on gear and game is p2w? If that is the case, then class balance is secondary problem anyway.
Its based on a gear but its like 2-3 second pvps does not matter you are full geared or not. They already published developer feed they gonna fix that short pvps and make them longer. I think its also a sign for balance system. Global version will be different than the game is now atm
Maybe that the answer is elsewhere. The trinity tank healer dps seems obvious vs a boss. However when playing other content we can see that tanks and healers needs to have dmg to be able to play.
So tank have tank + dmg, healer heal +dmg and dps have .. + dmg.
Looking at it in this way, it looks like dps lack an utility role. So if they had a role, the "dmg" part would be normal to have everyone and then each member of the trinity would specialise. Now having dmg + dmg for dps is an answer that don't satisfy me. Maybe the trinity tank heal dps needs some adjustement.
This game have 2-3 second pvps. You die sooo fast or you killed by so fast. Does not mater you play full gear vs full gear or any other combination. PVPs are so short there is no alternatives and opportunities. You get cced you ded. You did cc first you win
Also only survival thing for DPS classes is EVASION which forces you to have it its not 100% like that but its like that. and tanks also forced to have evasion sets so they does not tank with skills they tank with permanent gear
I know its irrelevat to this video but I have a question. Remember you made a video about mystic keys how to get sollant? I had 5 keys and when I approached the orb none of them gave me any pouches. Has it been patched or I was just unlucky or it happens only by event? I got like rare weapon recipe and stuff like that from the key but no sollant pouch??
Yea man it was event. Remember on global save 7 days mystic keys like 35-40 all the time because i think at early stages we will have sollant same event.

Haven't played the game yet, but saw many videos. What i mostly dislike is dagger got invisibility , that is pretty imba in a fast paced environment and hard to counter, dunno why all games have to copy Wow bullshit. So for dps there are too many xxx / dagger. Also Problem nowdays is that you have easy access to best builds in games, just follow yt / twitch and copy/paste best builds, so mmo in my opinion need Huge customization ( like i can build a defensive mage if i want). Another thing, you die too fast in this game, combat looks too fast paced and straightforward: the faster the fight, the less skill is required and equipment matters a lot more. I think all classes should have more defensive/ survivability / situational skills, and heals should be just a small support in teams , i don't like games where healer is Op and required for every damn content. I dislike to have a class that will always counter mine, no matter what. So I dislike the trinity system, it's surpassed and too restrictive for me. Companies could have learned more from Guild wars 1, that was a godly combat system for that time. But this is what we get, TL still look a very decent mmo after looong time, so i'll have some fun at least for a while.
Hide have huge counter. Bow have skill if you go hide he will shoot that skill and you get out from the hide and 2-4s stun which is enough to die.
PVP is to fast yea they announced yesterday they know that and they gonna increase combat potential times. 4-5s is enough to die or kill some one. most time you one shoot if you get heavy attack + crit on propare skill.
@@MMOLater I noticed Bow skill, and probably will play bow/dagger and use it in pvp, but you have to lock 1 skill out of 12 only for that role, and it's a very situational skill. Hide is still Op because you can get out of Hide with a crit, then silence/ stun, and since the game is fast paced, almost take out an opponent before he can be able to target you and fight back. And also you can jump into a enemy team with dagger skills, kill one low life, hide and escape a sure death situation for every other subclass ( unless they have a bow user ready with that skill ). But the game is still in beta, we will see. They made huge improvements in last year, one year ago TL looked like total trash, so there is hope.

Ok lets imagine that they give DPS option to full dps.
What about healers?
Most of them are dead already in 2-3 sec.
If dps for axample daggers will have option to unlimit dps.
healers will be dead in one two hits.

tank will relay on block and evasion.
I like and hope that things will be NOT CHANGED.
Ofc Lineage boys cry about oneshots they dreaming to kill 1vs200 with oneshots.

In gear does not matter what class are you DPS or healer or tank you are forced to put defensive traits . This gives healers and tanks big W . For example in AION (Which is also NCsoft's game) in gear there is the option to put offensive or defensive manastones(traits) magic boost and magic accuracy for mage and anti its have magic resist what does it do? if you put magic boost in your gear and healer have magic resist gear you cant hit . if you hit its will hits hard but healer have magic resist gear you cant hit. you need to put magic accuracy (traits) to brake healers magic resist gear but... you lose dmg.
I think ill be going bow and daggers because im a chicken that wants to pew pew from far and if you get close ill go invisible hide to run away.
For global I would recommend you Bow Staff if you can play with bow. After we get T2 gear you can gain 40% critical dmg from that gear and no need to hide. You will have aoe skills to from the longest range

Thats why i love albion. Full loot pvp, there is like 1% overgeared ppl and it doesnt matter that much. There is not much difference if u spend 200$ or 5 usd.
Pvp mechanics are epic. There is no spamming random skills and everything matter.
Every fight is with legit caller and most ppl know what they supposed to do in zerg.
I cant play isometric mmorpg's only League of legend i can since im playing it season 1
