We all love you Sir Peter Higgs ❤❤
I really hope to work there as an intern! It's all planned out
Why? We can't even take care of the planet collectively, I'm not so sure trying to tear through other dimensions is something we should be prioritizing.
@@iamwhoyousayiam6773 well, I don't think my dreams are bounded by humanities' priorities. We need to charge world leaders and companies about not making enough programs to preserve the environment. I, as an individual, do have responsibilities about this issue, but I don't think they include the career path I should take. What do you think?
To be honest, I've already participated in two projects about environmental issues. One of them, I developed a device for bicycles which collects temperature and humidity for weather analysis. And the other, which I still participate, my team and I develop two prototype vehicles, one electric and the other gas, that are the most energy efficient possible. This background may help me implementing environmental friendly solutions in CERN, if I ever get to work there, or anywhere else.
@@danteregianifreitas6461 What you're doing sounds far more useful, and admirable, in my opinion! CERN is where egos go to rise higher.
@@danteregianifreitas6461 and yet there's still homeless, and starving people.
Me And You Both Amen.
I am a primary school teacher working in Türkiye. An experiment we did in the classroom has brought me this far. 0:50 My 8-year-old students reacted similar to the reaction here. It is a unique thing that science arouses excitement at every age.
Waooooooo!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Can't wait for next episode!!!! #curious #selfmusing . Expecting for something big !!
If the experiments are probablistic as was said in the video, then can we manipulate factors to get the desired particles as explained by quantum mechanics and form some kind of distribution table like in the kinetic theory?
I dream of working there someday too
Nice video, excellent background music!
interesting stuff, thank you for the presentation.
One day I will be working there !!!
Sincerely best wishes, so what about your studies certifications?
How are you doing brother?❤

That transition at 4:52 is so cool. Obviously the entire video is cool and informative too
What happens after Higgs boson, rather than how to make new particles? from Japan.
The explanation is just awesome...thank you for this wonderful explanation...
Brawo Traq! Super filmik i fajnie wytlumaczone :) Czekam na epizod 2 i 3!
More of this guy please
*You're telling me CERN uses Comic Sans*
Hi I am Anik. I am from Bangladesh. I want to be a great scientists in Physics of my life. I want to work in CERN one day.
A super nice idea 🤗
I'm waiting for the next video !!
Ok there conservative control FREAKS of nature controlling the comment section.
_we need more funding for science_
Watched part 3 first before part 1 and it makes much more sense now
Thanks for video
Question , is that blue pipe welded together ?
Please make video on SUSY , BSM , String theory like this
This is going to go well because if they collide more scientific theories could be made
spectacular visuals
Great job Piotr ! Waiting for the next episodes !!
Wonderful video and awesome choice of music, because this is THAT cool!
wow super explanation
How can I do my PhD's at CERN ?
I have visited the CERN's careers website but didn't get to know more.😀 Hope I get a reply.
Really? jobs.smartrecruiters.com/CERN/743999698738972-doctoral-student-programme
The easiest way to do a PhD at CERN is to do a PhD at a university that is connected to CERN. There are university groups from the majority of countries working there. Here is a list of the universities, check out their Particle Physics departments: greybook.cern.ch/greybook/institute/list
Thanks! That was amazing
Who makes those pipes?
Do you sell the pipes?
Tweaking the model to make the Higgs a composite of quark-like particles, bound together by a new force, could solve this problem.
So higgs boson's mass is greater than Plancks constant ?
Its also bigger than that
Great stuff!.Thanks!
W O W !!! That was So GOOD 🙀 Can’t wait for more 👏🖤🦋
What is the background music used here?
Thanks.
I wonder if in 500 years, i could reproduce this in my living room. 8 )

I’m beginning to think that Frankie Boyle’s concerns might be a tad legitimate, lol!
Woooow I’ll work for there I hope.

Nice
When are you premiering 2nd and 3rd episodes ?? Can't just wait
Episode 2 is coming in a week from now!
@@CERNnoted with thanks.
Our time in existence is bracketed by much larger particles than Higgs particles, and much larger problems than understanding the building blocks of the universe. Our species passes as a forgotten dream in a cold, dark and infinite space, our ironic moment of existence even less significant than the blip of the boson, itself.
Can i visit cern.... plzzz tell me
How do they extract proton and use it for collisions??
The protons originate from an ordinary hydrogen bottle [1]. Hydrogen gas is injected into a cool-sounding device called a duoplasmatron which strips out most of the electrons [2, 3].

Birth of a microverse.
Free ICU You may not know that when someone dies, the scientific reason behind it is Magnetic Sound and Light Micro Gravity Webs. In common language they are called Yamraj. If these Magnetic Sound and Light Micro Gravity Webs i.e. Yamraj are somehow entangled or stopped, then certainly someone's death can be avoided. And if the reason is known, then its solution is also found. So if the cause of death is to stop these Magnetic Sound and Light Micro Gravity Webs i.e. Yamraj, then the dying person will have to be given Electro Sound and Light Micro Gravity Webs due to which there will be a magnetic and electric collision and the process of death will stop. Its test will be done in such a way that on seeing or hearing Magnetic Sound and Light Micro Gravity Webs, dogs and cats start crying automatically. During the day, owls and peacocks start flying and speaking. That is why even today when dogs cry a lot in the village, then people say that someone is about to die. Actually, dogs and cats, seeing death, the Magnetic Sound and Light Micro Gravity Babes or Yamraj coming from this universe, face the sky and cry loudly for a long time. I have found an alternative or Jugaad of Magnetic Sound and Light Micro Gravity Babes i.e. Yamraj or Electro Sound and Light Micro Gravity Babes that stop death. It is a mixed tune or sound of Bean and Flute. You can search it on CZcams or Google and play it for hours on the dying person through earphone or Bluetooth in a loud volume. You may find this a made up story but this is the result of my hard work of forty years. Actually, since childhood, I wanted to become the greatest scientist and win the race of Novel Prize and since then I am making a Dead Body Recharge Formula to bring the dead alive. And if this experiment of mine is successful after your testing then you will get free ICU and I will consider that I have got my novel prize Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka

those people who are trying to understand the construction and execution of universe ,wants to kick the ruler of the universe from his chair, and want to sit on his chair ,but my question is that why he will allow or give chance to you , to climb above him ,so the creature of this universe , that is me my self ,is just making you walk from 1 stop to another ,and this stops are endless , so keep walking
What's with the background music? Too loud and un-necessary. Great videos but bad background music !!!

If higgs life time is so short, how it gives mass to other particles continuously ? and how it is impacting everythig
The Higgs boson is an excitation in the Higgs field. The Higgs field is responsible for electroweak symmetry breaking, that is, "giving mass to the elementary particles". Here [1] is one of my favorite analogies for this process from Sean Carroll (theoretical physicist at Caltech).
[1] www.preposterousuniverse.com/blog/2012/12/07/how-to-explain-the-higgs-mechanism/
When the discovered tiny particles is making concurrency to the number of the elements of the periodic table, we shall envisage that many elementary particles are not…
I am also wary about the end of the move explained as being changed in heat: we absolutely can’t feel it. It should surely produce flames at least…
All this claim only to satisfy the constance of energy, which is nothing more than being awed by a vulgar postulate.
Nature will pick the possibility…. Would could go wrong….
He said, ‘Go to this people and say, “You listen but never understand, and you will look and look but never see!For this people’s heart has become calloused, and their ears can barely hear, and they have shut their eyes so that they may never see with their eyes, and listen with their ears, and understand with their heart and turn and let me heal them.”’ - Acts 28:26-27

Sind wir / seid ihr nicht hier in der Schweiz ? !
Wäre es nicht Respektvoll eure Videos auch in deutscher Sprache hoch zu laden..... 🤔
CERN is very close to Geneve which, as you probably know, is in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Some parts of the internal and outreach communication are in French but it is also a very large international organization, thus English is spoken extensively.
So why are we doing this?
Should it be considered a classical model when measuring particle speeds in regards to 'closing rates' since nothing has exceeded 'C' and no matter was converted to energy prior to collision? The only thing which can be logically deduced is the naturally additive closing rate which should be considered to maintain its classical model parameters. Just as with two distant black hole binaries creating gravitational waves simultaneously should have wave front closing rates which mirror that of a wave pool.
So Higgs knew about this without having to spend 12 billion dollars, how? BRILLIANT
They try to explain this so nice .what you don't get is the problems with this which work also the the human body definitely

No. it's collision of the proton particles. In layman, it's conversion of mass to extreme energy and then back to mass.
