We feel the same way. I have made a business out of traveling the us and checking goodwill's and e-waste shops for little treasures. I just found a orange NZXT apollo with a i7 4790k, a pny FOUNDER EDITION 980 in the box unopened, and a gtx 1070 ti, handfuls of intel CPUs all in the goodwill "processing" bin. I made an offer before they set it out on the floor and rescued it all for under $100, it takes the burden of them testing them off their hands and they don't mind and I don't either. You got to be smart and check it because I have done this before and walked away with a bin full of motherboards that all had their bios chips plucked. That was an expensive but worthwhile adventure. The 1070 needs a new fan but I have one on the way.

By the way the very last computer he was looking at at the very end with the rotating circle is a touchscreen! It uses infrared sensors to make a grid and determan where your finger is. I clearly think theres a lot of working pc's over there, And with a decent maintenance, you can find yourself a lot of well running laptops. And don't think they are cheap versions, because workers need biometric systems to not spend waste time to remember their passwords, nearly 99% of them have working biometric sensors on them with full donated versions like cd rom and other hardware added.

Those were an treasure for someone atleast, coz they can be used as an content for retro builds and benchmarks... Probably Michael MJD, Retro Vintage Tech, LGR and etc might utilize them for their contents lol

Broooo, I would probably take them hard drives!! I know they're older technology, but they do in fact still hold storage and storage is expensive these days. I mean, you could backup your pictures and videos, your games from your PC or consoles. Games take up soo much storage these days that you're pretty much limited to being able to only have a couple and are pretty much stuck only being able play them. Unless you delete one just to download another one all the time. But, you can download as many as you want with all those hard drives and not have to constantly download and delete when you want to play different games.
Plus, it would be extremely interesting to see what was on them and to see how weird people are. Lmao. And people still do use and buy them. Depending on how many GB's it holds, you can still easily sell them from roughly 10 dollars to like, idk, 25ishhh? Or so. If they are all being recycled, you can probably take them for free. Soo, they would absolutely be worth taking!! Keep a couple for yourself, sell the rest online!! I'd definitely take them!! Obviously not all at once, but as many as I would have space for and just go back for more when they sell.
