- It's just another lovely day at the mansion. Ollie was working away peacefully until his calm became punctuated by the repeating sound of a staple gun. But what was it for and more importantly, what do you think? At long last, a little bit of rainforest creeps into the dining room.

I love that you have done the chairs. It seems a step forward in your decorating and that's a good thing. The large plant in that room added to the ambience. We know the restoration of the walls, etc., will come eventually, in the meantime it's looking wonderful. Your kitten is wonderful, she just wants to be with you it seems.

Camilla, you did a great job getting an animal on each chair, and I think a butterfly on one. They are beautiful. It doesn't matter if the monkey is upside-down on the last chair. They like to hang upside-down sometimes! 😂
Thats a daring choice for your Swedish 18th c style chairs! The greys in the leaves really do make it work! And in your climate that tropical motif and pop of color seems fitting! I've been hearing about the water shortages and record breaking drought in Catalonia recently. Sounds very serious and worrying. Wishing you some of our Nordic rains, we could certainly spare you some.
