- At OTB Sports, we were delighted to sit down with Arsenal legends Ian Wright and Sol Campbell for our #CadburyFC roadshow with Cadbury Ireland.
In this part, Sol and Wrighty discuss the sledging techniques that they used to get under opponents' skin. While Sol was at Tottenham, check out how a thousand-yard stare used to often leave him on top, while Ian talks about winding up Rio Ferdinand, Leeds United's captain Lucas Radebe and Nottingham Forest's Des Walker!

I could listen to Wrighty all day. And he's right about Sol. He was solid as a rock and one of the best five centre backs we've ever produced in England.

@@thedoc225ify basically they went into a challenge together and when they came off at halftime they were arguing about the incident and schmeichell said out loud ” he's going Bananas!" Inferring that Ian Wright was a monkey, then it all kicked off in the tunnel.

That's a stupid and quiet racist statement, "Every black player" really? This has nothing to do with race, it's all about personality, either you're the quiet and doesn't bite type Sol Campbell or an loud extrovert like Ian Wright, most players/people of ALL RACES have personalities somewhere in between the two. You just can't get past the fact that the 2 ex pros are talking about their playing are black.

Rather than say you don't understand the comment you make it what you want it to mean. But i can't be bothered with the inevitable back and forth so I'll make it clear what i mean. The convo was abt getting under your opponents skin to gain an advantage. The opposition would use personal info to wind up their adversary. So based on that race was and still is used to hurt a players feelings. This is facts but less accepted in today's world. And it is a low blood as far as wind ups or bants go. Using a players skin colour against them has destroyed some players..so in that respect it is the Achilles heel or sensitive spot of a Black sports person

Campbell certainly did react to the football worlds reaction to his lies when leaving Spurs! He's the reason contracts mean nothing now, no loyalty in football and insane salaries to keep players. Disgraceful behaviour.
He made the right decision though, he won countless trophies at Arsenal
