ALERT!! 📢 📢 guys! Please DO NOT respond to any fake telegram accounts saying that you have won something from us. It's not true please don't respond. Sorry for any confusion
if you want to know if there are Italians who follow you, I certainly follow you...
San Valentino, bishop born and died in Italy, was just over 90 years old
Pizza is just flour, water, salt, yeast and at most a little olive oil, butter is worse than poison. We don't use tomato paste on the pizza but only tomato puree which is more liquid, we don't put cheese but mozzarella which you will have to drain all the liquid after breaking it with your hands.
It's not clear which song you're referring to, however you're out of tune worse than a bell.
I tried to buy a t-shirt but the shipping cost to Italy was 3 times that of the t-shirt…sorry
The BVI on valentines day, forget it. You are under British Rule now and they are not big followers of your Americanisms ! But enjoy you guys !!
@@allenrj1 Americanisms? Look, I'm Italian, born in Naples or at least in the municipality of Naples because I was born on the ferry in the Gulf of Naples.
Even if they are in the English sphere, pizza is and will always remain the traditional dish of Naples.
As for Americanisms, I also inform you that the American chain of pizzerias, thinking that Italians would appreciate American pizza recipes, after two years went bankrupt miserably and closed all 30 pizzerias en bloc
@@giovanniallegro3790 Giovanni, Hello from Australia - Thank you for getting in contact. I apologise if I have upset you, my reference to 'Americanisms' related to their celebration of St. Valentines Day in America where it seems to coincide with a people massacre many generations ago. Nothing I said was meant to be derogatory of the famous Pizza, enjoyed by many nations around the world, I myself enjoy a traditional Italian Pizza every now and again , these days however I have to watch the Carbohydrate and sugar content . If my note came across as complaint about Pizza please excuse me, as that is not what I intended nor did I intend to offend you. I wish you very well and my best regards, John
@@allenrj1 no offense, if these were the offenses I would certainly be more optimistic, unfortunately there are people who delight in creating meaningless offenses. as far as pizza is concerned, carbohydrates are transformed into starches and starches into sugars which for a severe diabetic like me, is killing my legs, devastating my heart and kidneys, having to limit my beloved pizza is a great sacrifice, how can I not I can approach the vegetarian or vegan world because they are foods with high glycemic value. as regards the coincidence of the dates I would like to know which date does not coincide with more or less serious facts, as regards my life, April 21st is the date of my fourth marriage, my daughter is born on October 21st, my father dies on September 21st dog I was very close to. However, is every world a country or does every country have its own world?
Y’all brought back memories for this old guy. I think it was 24 years ago another couple, my wife and I sailed the BVIs for 11 days. We ate at Foxy’s also. My wife sailed on to Heaven in 2006. Watching this video makes me want to break out some old pictures we took. If you could have sip of something good for Rosie and Jim maybe Rosie could hear you. That’d be so great. This video is of course my favorite now. My wife would have loved you guys! Thanks for this video!
Sorry for your loss sir. Going through a ruff patch with my wife. Just got home last night from Fox Chase cancer center in Philadelphia. I think that's why I love these guys so much cause I would give anything to sit with my wife on a sailboat looking at that beautiful clear water seeing the sun shine off her face. I love my wife with all my heart and Lord willing things work out for us cause I'm gonna do just that!!!
Sorry for the rant. Good luck to you and your future.
♥️♥️♥️
Now I want pizza!!! Looks great Matt! River rat can cook!!!wow!!
My mom and dad rented Sunset House, which overlooks Long Bay on the western end of Tortola, for a family reunion for 10 days in 2000. It was fantastic. My parents-in-law names were - Rosie and Jim! Sorry for your loss, I'll lift a glass to Rosie (both of them!)
Definitely gonna pour one out for all of the Rosie's 🙏🙏🍻🍻 God bless everybody
I STILL can't believe my son can make homemade bread!!! I love the little valentine pizza u made for Kristen, very sweet...u guys look like ur having a great time...wish I was there with u...I miss u more everyday...have fun, safe sails...luv u
I feel we’re all watching the evolution of Matt becoming so much more comfortable in front of the camera, like he actually enjoys it. I think he could be a stand-up comedian. Great video!
The BVI episode is one of the most stunning youtube videos I have ever seen. You two were adorable. I love it when you sail you are getting really good at it and it is beautiful. The way you included us in all the details of entering a new country made it feel like we were with you. Thanks guys. My wife and I love you both.
drunk matt cooking show is a must. straight hilarious
My two loves, you are the honey on the bread, I can watch you every day, sometimes I go back and watch your old videos and admire your decisions and desire to sail on the ocean, continue to have a beautiful life together because you were born to be together,💯❤❤❤❤🍀🍀🍀🍀
I ordered it weeks ago and it finally came in. I am now the proud owner of a "Dead Dolphin" t-shirt. I know whenever I sport this shirt around town, I'm gonna have some "splaining" to do. I'm looking forward to it. Great job guys.
That's awesome!! I hope ur splaining goes well ☠️ 🐬
Enjoying from gloomy English Sunday
I've been watching many sailing channels and yours is my favorite. The two of you make me feel like we have been friends for a long time. I'm looking forward for your future travels. Best wishes from Canada
Very entertaining as per usual. The look on Kirstens face when Matt is on one of his verbal rambles is priceless! Boat looking so beautiful and happy for you both enjoying life on BVI. Till next time...👍💯
I found you two a long time ago, but never subbed. But for some reason, when you did the drunk finger test and he made the funny face, I hit the sub button. You two have always been so real, easy to watch, and your videos have a nice production quality. Plus, whoever is picking the background music is A+. Thanks for sharing your lives with us!
Love this place. Last time at Foxys, a boat caught on fire on the other side of the beach. It was late at night. All of a sudden the bar tender jumps the bar and takes off towards the fire. Later learned from our security crew that the bar tender was also the fire chief. Lol. Got to check out Virgin Gorda next.
well, the genius continues!! The sequence making pizza with the clarinet music and Matt's antics - priceless! Happy you've both had some time to just be cruisers having fun. Another wonderful episode you guys!!
I have to agree with Kurt. The spontaneous act of affection by Kristen was surely a surprise. It was a nice touch on valentines day.
Best episode yet. I have watched every one from the beginning. You will blow past 200k very soon. Best chemistry of any sailing channel. Keep up the great work!
You guys are so much fun. Don't ever change! Thanks for sharing!
24:00 Laying sausage? What a Valentines Day🎉
FYI, the Bahamas became an independent commonwealth in 1973. I ordered my DD tee the day they became available and still have not gotten it. No way on t-spring to check delivery status.
Anyway..another great vlog guys. Can't believe how crystal clear the water is there! Beautiful! Can't wait to see your adventures as you bop around. Take care!!
Jost van Dyke! Recognized it instantly in the intro…good, good memories on the beach at White Bay, friends, (local) family, a wedding, a charter boat, and sketchy but friendly locals helping us take the party up a notch in the bushes behind the beachside roti shops. 💨
Edit: 26:50 oh yeah, I (barely) remember the Soggy Dollar. I was also “slizzered/turnt”. 😂
PS it’s pronounced YOHst van Dike, like “Yo Mama!”
Great job on the pizza, I am still amazed on how beautiful your sailing home has become. I look forward to each new videos. Your present anchorage is stunning. The water is so clear it just invites you to jump in. Belated Happy Valentine Day. Be safe.
Great episode. Glad you hit Jost Van Dyke first. It's ok some times to just sit in the cockpit and watch what's going on. That's part of the experience you share. Also, really impressed by how neat you have kept everything since the refit. Looking forward to next episode.
Another week of Fun Video content! 🎉
This brought back lots of memories. The first time we went to the BVI, we chartered out of St. Thomas and checked in to Jost Van Dyke, just like you did. Went back there for my 50th birthday, which we spent in Foxy's. BTW, Corsair Beach Bar & Restaurant used to serve a really nice breakfast. More than once, we spent the night in Cane Garden Bay (Jost Vany Dyke can get rolly) and then sailed across to Jost Van Dyke for breakfast. On a dark night in Cane Garden Bay, you can watch car headlights going up and down the hills of Jost Van Dyke. We just love the BVI.
When the Moon hits your eye like a big Pizza Pie "That's Amore" Try that one next time Uncle Matty.
You kids always make me smile, laugh and feel good about sitting here and watching you guys do all this stuff, thank you, thank you!
You guys are better than any sitcom on tv ❤
Okay one more thing oh, it is so nice to see Kristen being affectionate towards Matt. For years I've watched her give him the crap and it's nice actually see a nice side to her towards him.
I've commented on this before - I notice that Matt referred to "his" boat, "his" journey" and "his" passport. How about "Our" boat, "Our" journey, and "Our" passports? 😒
Yep. I was going to comment on that rare Public Display of Affection but you beat me to it!
😂I thought the same as the both of you. Out of all the videos I’ve watched of SGBU, I think that was the first time I’ve seen the two of them touch one another. It brought warmth to the video and I have to say, one of my favorite videos of you two. I laughed more times than any other video you’ve put out.
Thanks guys, keep up the good work and enjoy the BVI.
In all the years I've been following them I don't think I've ever seen Kristen kiss him. It was like when Ross kissed Rachel for the first time. Gave me chills. lol
@@GaryJones2012 And I thought that they were siblings. My bad.
Ok…Matt and Kristen on 2 pain killers are hilarious and entertaining. You musta had good ones. Thanks guys again. You’re in my paradise.
Captain Matties Kitchen was wildly entertaining! Haha!
Also love the moment around 9:50 that was sweet.
OMG😁😛😷. You guys were cracking me up today. The pizza looked delish and the water is beautiful 😍. Have a great 30 dys
The boat looks so good. Can't get over it. Like all the windows and every time you pan around it just looks new. Hey do something with that silver teak on the deck . See, I want boat projects still! 😆😆😆
Old sausage on Valentines Day. Dude!! That right there is some funny stuff, I don't care who you are :) Go Matt!!
Matt is absolutely Puerto Rican now. If you haven't been there it might not click for you. It's a magical place.
HEY MATT!!!
Your boat must be very well designed now for you two..
I remember before the Great Re-Do of 2022, you not complaining of little problems like rope rubbing a little on the metal. Must be nice having a very sturdy sailing vessel .. LOVE YA..
How about a video on how you bank when sailing. Which cc/transfer fees/ processes? That would be informative.
LOL!!!! BIG LAUGH about “laying the sausage” on Valentines Day. You guys have fun in the BVIs.
It could be your furler drum just has too much line in it. If you want to get some line out of the furling drum just furl up the sail, remove the sheets and use a tie to secure the sail around the forestay and the whole thing can spin without letting the sail out. Then just pull out a few feet of furling line until there's a couple turns left inside the drum. Re-attach the sheets and unfurl check if that helps. I don't think you should put your grinder anywhere near your furler!
If that doesn't help you can use a smaller diameter furling line. I don't like doing this because it makes handling more difficult when you are trying to reef the sail. You can splice the smaller diameter line at the drum end so that when the sail is let out, the drum gets the smaller diameter first, and you still have the bigger end for handling.
Agree with using smaller line. Much better solution than ‘modifications’ to the roller mechanism.
Yes, use a one size smaller furling line, and when the sail is ttoally unfurled, leave only a few wraps on the drum.
You are both a very natural couple on camera and very easy to watch not to dramatic but fun.
Love the sausage joke! Since you were buzzed. At least Kristen had some kind of sausage on Vday!!
Love, love, love Jost!! Not only is it beautiful but there is unlimited entertainment at night watching the charter guests trying to get back on their boats after drinking all day.
I love the black swim suit. It really shows your sailing skills. LOL
Good morning Captains and first Mate Bear 😊....LOL,it looked like Bear was laying there on the bench keeping an eye on you Matt making sure you did everything right 😉😊
I have watched every one of your videos from the beginning, watch a few sailing channels, and your channel is my favorite.
Oh s---t, that Valentine day sausage joke... Love it! Enjoy all of your episodes....
Such a great full feature Sunday with GBU.
Can hardly believe how quickly the minutes pass watching the Travels of you both.
This is the one channel I always say O crap its over already.
😊cool !...I lived and worked in the BVI for 5 years ...I do hope that you guys are still sailing and having lots of funnn !....Take care 👍👋
So glad you guys are enjoying just sailing the boat now.
Now that was sweet of y'all to share your Valentine's Day with us.
Looked like it was an awesome Pizza as well, good job Matt way to make your lady feel special by cooking her a favorite.
I do the same very Valentine's for my Ole'Lady and have been doing so for 27 years now and I wish for you two to have as many happy years or more.
Fair winds, following seas, safe travels and God Bless...
The boat looks really good, this is working for you guys, thanks from this end.
Is there anything that Matt can't do? When I grow up I want to be just like him!
Happy V-day you two.
WOW so cool, you guys made it there! That water is just - - I have no words. Thank You for bringing all of us along.
The pizza look good. WoW! Kristen showing affection, you don't see that every day!
Matt making pizza had me chuckling out loud a few times. Seriously, thanks Foxy's!
Very romantic and perfect pizza!!! He gets all the props! 🎉🎉🎉 winner winner. Give his sausage some love 💕
OMG 😱 WOW ‼️ The B. V. I. 🎉 You made it 🎉🎉🎉 It is truly amazing what can be accomplished once a refit is finished........cruising. ✨ 🌊 💨 ⛵️ 🏝 👙 🌞
Drunk Matt is awesome!
Matt it was really cool meeting you in the BVI. Thanks for taking the time to talk to a fan. I really appreciate the videos you two make!
Very practical the headgear Great idea
Communication so important holds the crew together
As a 20+ year New Jersey resident, I thank you for the take on the important sauce vs gravy debate. Also for the drinking and cooking segment!
The more I see what you have done with this boat, the more impressed I am. Nice job!
Good job Matt! Nice job with the heart on the pizza.
Great posting kids! Happy Valentines to you both! Mat, your pizza looked great!
Congrats on making it to the BVI. It looks stunningly beautiful. Happy Valentine's Day. You put a smile on my face as always. Take it easy.
Great video! Nice job on the pizza. You still kept it to full length, we thank you. Enjoy your week.... Keith
Such a beautiful spot! That beach and clear water would be calling my name. What a way to do Valentine's day. Can't wait to see more of the place.
Hey Guys,
You are one of the few utubers that are actually funny while filming. Gotta bunch of sourpusses outdare. Lol
Stay safe and happy cruising…
Great video again , watching you guys makes me want another sailboat . That clear warm water really got me ....pizza ( add fresh garlic ! ) cheers
Can't wait to see what adventures your going to do in the BVI. Happy Valentines day. Very romantic, pizza and champagne. Perfect. Cheers
BVI, land of the mooring balls. I like your shackle for connecting to the mooring ball but be careful because most countries do not allow it as the metal shackle can wear away the mooring ball loop. There are some cool places you can anchor out in BVI and get away from the Charter Boats.
Matt a bit blazed is a hoot!!!!!! Kermit was special!!!!!
BESTBEST show yet ! so smooth , soso everything ... want more .
So, GBU sailed DD to the BVI...😁😉🤗
You guys have done a good job on that boat; it looks pretty cozy. Hello from Houston TX originally from Caguas Puerto Rico.
Happy Belated Valentines Day Kristen 🙂 Hope Matty treated you right and made you a wonderful dinner! Glad you guys made it to the BVI. What a beautiful place... Enjoy your time there!
Every time you crank that engine it reminds me how far you two have come. Congratulations and thumbs up.
Got up early to watch this awesome video. Then my wifi went down 16.08 in I was Pissed, BP went up. it came back up 7 minutes later 🥵. Then you came back on and as usual the fun vibes you send out settled me down. My Sunday would not be complete with out you two. Matt, nice touch on the pizza heart. Kristin, you are a expert on the mooring ball now. Have a wonderful week. God bless in all you do.
You two are awesome.🤩
The joke about layin sausage 🤣😂 was Awesome
My husband and I just ordered our dead dolphin 🐬 t shirts, as our Valentine’s Day presents to each other! We’ll shoot pictures when they get here!
First PDA that I have seen on this boat! Been watching since the beginning. Love it.
Very good video! You guys have such interesting content.
Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!
Put up a Dead Dolphin T in the bar. What a beautiful place you are in. Matt that was a very nice pizza dinner for Kristen on Valentine’s Day. Enjoy life. 👍⛵️🏝
I always look forward to your videos. Thanks. Slizzered - good new word.
Happy Belated Valentines guys. Congratulations on your new mooring ball. Excellent job Kristen on the mooring ball grappling.
Must admit that watching a little turned up Matt and Kristen is amazing start to my Sunday morning.
One of your very best video adventures. BVI looks so charming, looking forward seeing more of it., the beauty of your sail, the humor of Matt, the cool pizza Valentine’s dinner, great fun.
For your furler, you can remove the core from the first 1/3rd of the furling line to make it take less space on the drum. My Hood Seafurl pecifically recommended doing this.
That is a great idea!! Thank you
Went to Foxy's for NEW YEARS many moons ago. It was my son Marc and I and one of the best times together. We had come over from St. John on the ferry. Now my son is gone and your video flash backed the memories for me,,,,,MERCI, enjoy 😉 👍 😀
If you have too much line in your furling drum you can fully furl the jib, untie the two jib sheets and turn the whole drum, jib and forestay by hand as you let out a foot or more of the furling line. Then tie the jib sheets back on and you are good to go. Happy Sails and Fair Winds!
Hey Matt. You guys are very entrataining and making me laugh and is ok to be boricua . Keep doing what your doing, I love you guys ...
at 7:05 there is a valentine heart in the clouds left of the grill
our best friends just returned from renting a boat in the BVI's and had a blast. I really enjoyed sharing your adventure there.
Love this chapter. your Valentines day pizza. You should put some eyes to the oven glove and introduce OVI the oven glove character. Would be really funny. Enjoy your show
Great pizza Matt, Happy belated Valentines day you guys, enjoy the BVI.
Pusser's Rum - true RN Naval Rum. My Grandpa was Chief Petty Officer in charge of the Royal Navy Officers' Mess, it was bedtime dippers as a lad. Tragedy in 1972, now restored!
I want to hang with Matt when he is faced...How much fun! Love you guys...stay safe!
for your furler, when the sail is furled in just bring both sheets forward, hold to the sail and (with loosened furling line) twirl the furler (with the sail and sheets) the number of wraps in the direction you want. viola! (it's a little bit of a mind bender)
Glad you got to see BVI send more
Loved this episode Reminded me of a video of the solo who stopped in front of the Canadian check in and made a sandwich instead of getting checked in-- that was a $2500 sandwitch.
Great to see you guys relaxed and enjoying the cruising life
