    Great work.
    some people are used to electricity working for them. That is why they can last a whole month in the jungle or abandon the machine. I appreciate their fathers and sons for willingness to learn.

    I commend the men's grit and sheer determination, Good to see young men learning skills, Just because I'm from a different part of the world were OSHA rules and guides persist I would like to add they all appear healthy and amazingly I didn't see a single amputated limb. Thank you for posting.

      Maybe I'm weird but I looked forward to the summertime when I got to go help out at one of my family's companies. It was hard work but you learned something that you can't learn in school. Kids in the west should be required to do work like this when they are young. The smart ones survive and the dumb....well. It's called survival of the fittest.😄

As someone who works alone and got sick of hitting my own hands while holding the pliers😁 . I love slide hammers , they are so under used

      I do believe those bearings are press-fit into the part that he installs at 19:00. I believe it's called the ring gear or ring gear carrier. It's been too long to remember. He covers the bearing when the first plate that has eight bolts holding it on. On a wheel loader, you don't have to remove it and repack the grease because it sits in the sealed planetary gear that is filled with oil. That oil stinks so bad. The only thing that smells worse is the oil for the transmission and transfer case.

      That is fine, only asbestos in those shoes, nothing really toxic at all that means you need safety equipment, at least in the country with over a billion people, to choose from for a workforce. They were environmentally friendly, they did put the old oil back in, after filtering through some cloth to take the sand out.

      @@aghauler1964 My uncle's shop that does this kind of work is the same. They have a jack that has an attachment just for removing those wheel drums and planetary cases. Like you said all the old timers are missing something from somewhere. The story is always how they forgot and oops. There goes the finger. You can have all the safety equipment but it does you no good if you don't use it. Reminds me of that old safety video from Caterpillar, Shake hands with Danger. It's on here if you haven't seen it. It will bring back old memories.😆

    Just wait until cordless impacts are in these guys hands. Aside from the whole child labor thing I think India will be better off in the long run than here in America. At least those kids are working, here you just have a bunch of girlsthat are boys and boys that are girls, makes absolutely no sense and it will be our downfall. Kinda like the Roman's. I'm a mechanic but I am a dying breed here. Theres shortages on everything from car parts to people to install them. Reshoeing a brake shoe isn't possible in America so who's to say anything about anything

    • @Jonathan.D
      @Jonathan.D Před 2 lety

      You can still get those replacement shoes and drum liners. I can't remember if we got them from Ring power or one of the other places. It's faster to get the ones already rebuilt. Then they take your old ones and have them rebuilt. This old Cuban guy told us how they would rebuild car brake pads from asbestos. It was so crazy that so many people around the world poisoned themselves with that stuff because the company didn't warn anyone. Now it's Monsanto doing us in.
