Fun fact, the deal that was originally offered to Sony was better, but after Microsoft won the case against the FTC, the deal got significantly worse. I believe it had all Activision games as part of the deal to be ported to the ps5 but now it’s just cod so yeah, he fumbled
Yep he f'ed himself and sony ps because he wanted the deal dead. They would have had every Activision game made in the future. Instead all ms is contractually obligated to do is bring cod to ps for 10 years, that's it after that ms can do whatever it wants with the rest.

If a game is spending 30% on marketing that is a clear indicator that they should fire their marketing division. In this day and age, people really don't pay attention to traditional marketing. We have seen over and over that word of mouth and genuine reviews from non-corporate sources are what people use to find new games.
I was shook Sony was righting the ship when they ass canned Jimbo, but seeing them fully fund and publicly support sbi again and again was a great relief and made me realize it's same old Sony.

Also Sweeney and the Lawsuit from Wildfire say that Valve controls prices and crowd's out rivals/competition.
Steam actually allows developers to set it's own prices and has done so since 2014.
Also as per an article on the Verge... in 2018. Steam actually gives more money to devs.

That will remain the case for the first $10 million in sales a game maker or publisher earns. For all sales between $10 million and $50 million, the split goes to 25 percent. Also worth noting that Steam gives devs a lot of tools and the discoverability feature has been praised by indie devs like Mike Rose of No More Robots's Yes Your Grace.
And EPIC and Wildfire's complaints about Valve are kind of laughable. It's EPIC that is buying exclusivity. You don't see Valve going around and buying up exclusivity. If EPIC truly cared about game devs and competing? He'd make a better storefront.

They’ve already said this before they want to raise the game prices and make games in three parts Where each video game cost you $250 they’ve literally said this before each part of the video games going to be $80-$95 each and they will make them in three different parts and release them at different times so they can cut down on the cost for themselves to make video games because they took out too many loansjust to buy bungee, which was a huge mistake
