Hindu weddings are done by keeping fire at the centre. You revolve around the fire like the earth revolves around the sun eternally. The beauty of Hinduism is in that its always symbolic, not faith based. Infact the vows are about Shanti, not about God. In Bengali wedding, the 7th vow is maintaining ecological balance. The problem is we are not taught Sanskrit, so we miss all of it.

I at once recognized it is an Uttarakhandi wedding. I am assuming it to be a gadhwali wedding as I couldn't spot anyone in pichhora. Also there was no suwal pathai ritual.
@@ojal3747 Yes, these people are definitely Garhwali, as they were giving Baan and the women were singing in Garhwali too. But other than that, and the Nath of the bride, most of the rituals were not observed as per the Garhwali-Customs, which I am assuming were in accordance to the Gaud-Sampradaya. So it was kind of a fusion. 😊😊
