It's an beautiful place and divine
The Prasad is an offering to Our Gods, basically consists of fruits and sweets, sometimes bhog which includes pulao and other veg items
I also live near the Sri Chaitanya hair site, and also His birthplace Nabadwip is near just by few stations...
A lot of people from Iskcon have visited our hometown often
Atleast once a year...
And even in our house, we have our deity Giridhari, a form of Lord Krishna, as known from the stories
When Lord Krishna lifted Giri parbat or Govardhan parbat, it's a actual piece of that mountain
My Dad's mother was a very big devotee and she has been to Vrindavan many times, I would definitely recommend visiting places as devotional and peaceful like this..

What I love so much about Indian food is that only a small amount goes an enormously long way. Just a few dishes, some rice, some condiments and you have enough to feed several people. It is the best vegetarian food in the world.

Also, the Indian religion is ancient without any known lineage or source and is more of a mixture of various ideas then a consistent whole. In any case, we know that India has not always been inhabited by humans since earth was formed and humans came into existance. What was the religion of the first wave of humans that came into India? There was no vedas or gita at that time, no puranas or upanishads. Sanskrit did not exist as well.

I have dined at Govinda's restaurant, and the food was outstanding....many American dishes are available there and all are pure vegetarian.
And between Gita Bhavan and Gada Bhavan, I think Gada Bhavan is slightly better in terms of ambience. Keep up the great work! âșïžđ

But if you are doing work that does not need animal energy, then by eating meat you are just hoarding the food in your body which after a certain period of time turns toxic. Hence, for the people who work with brains, vegetarian food has been recommended. Its simple so takes less time to digest and enter the blood stream to brain.
And also eating vegetarian food, the sanctity is maintained by having less body odour, less mental imbalance, less bad energy which makes you indulge in bad activities like an animal. Thats why vegetarian food is reccomended to people who are on spiritual path. It gives more control on body.

I had visited Mayapur. Stayed there and enjoyed puja, Aroti etc, and enjoyed the meal also. Excellent.
I think westerners are going to save and rescue Hindu traditions as Hindus like me are lost between old and the new. Grew up in tradtion and knew how to offer prasadam to god and say the sanskrit offfering prayers. And making prayer before eating too but stopped doing it in my 20s and have now forgotten it.
Feel bit guilty and sad. I still consider myself hindu but when I see the dedication and fresh commitment to that tradition by a westerners and such a beautiful kid with such pure heart I am inspired to go back to my tradition.

I am a Bengali, living in Jharkhand, came to Mayapur twice as it is near Bardhaman, in Nadia district. Mayapur is really full of Maya. Hindus and Vaishnavs and devotees of Krishna from all over the world come here. But if you visit Mayapur you should definitely visit Nabadwip, the birth place of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. You can come to Nabadwip from steamer which will help you to cross the Hoogly(Ganges) river. If you come from Bardhaman, (I am saying how I came. There are many other routes too.) enter the Nadanghat chowk and take the left bridge and go straight. A railway line (Which crosses the Nabadwip Dham station) will arrive after you drive 16.5km, and you will enter Nabadwip. From Nabadwip by steamer you can visit mayapur which roughly takes 2-4 minutes.

Also Vaishnavs mean follower of Vishnu or devotee of Vishnu, Shaktas are follower or devotee of Shakti, and Shaivas are follower or devotee of Shiva. So what I said is not wrong.

I chanced upon your video and thoroughly enjoyed it. The most beautiful thing about the video was the shots you captured of your daughter who simply luvs eating. One scene where the guy brings the thali and your daughters fingers were only visible and drumming to grab the food and not to mention inside the ashram she demanding for more rice! She will grow up to be a major foodie! I miss the innocence of this age of my own daughter. She has grown up and stepped out into the world for higher studies.

Here is my genuine suggestion to you as a Hindu and Indian, donât waste your time on this religion and tradition, itâs all fake. Stay in west and have a better life and make your children gets one. Our country is a shit hole, no healthcare, no humanity, no money. Itâs failed and I promise there is no hope for this country. The religions (Hindu, Muslims etc etc) have ruined this country.

That Garden Restaurant is so amazing. During my first trip to mayapur , we remember going to so many places but when we finally discovered this one which was so close by to where we were staying.
We felt our trip was successful. The prasadam was so reasonably priced and also delicious, all the cooks are so happy , very decent set up. What's sad is that we discovered this place only a night before leaving from mayapur. Hopefully will get to visit this place again đ

I've been missing Mayapur so much and I stumbled upon this video. Mayapur is 3 hrs journey from my home. But yeah, when I go there I either eat at Gada Bhawan or one of the places outside of Iskcon campus. Mahaprasad stand and Govinda's are also nice. But all other places you've included are all new. I haven't been to there in past 2 years and I see a lot has changed. Hare Krishna
I don't know much about Mayapuri or Lord Krishna but I know that I listen to bhajana in Mata Janvi Devi's melodious blessingful Voice .it just took away my all tension instantly.
Honestly i have been to mayapur like 10times and it is like 1hour distance from where i live but never knew these places thanks..will definitely try these next time i go...hare Krishna đ
