El Yucateco aint no joke. So many people pour it on like it's a normal vinegar based hot sauce without trying it first. On a whole burrito I put 5 drops and it's still a little too spicy.

You can see how flattered Jerry is at the moment when Norm remembers and laughs at one one Jerry's early stand-up jokes. You know, with the last few years of his life Norm really went around appreciating those he felt worthy of his appreciation what with things like his Chappelle photo, his Letterman appearance and stuff like this. He may have been an old chunk of coal but he had the heart of a diamond.

Dude he looked so good that you couldn't tell he was fighting with cancer for the past 9 years. Add to that his lighthearted attitude and being happy, no one could have guessed that.
I remember watching him in the "I'm not Norm" and latest norm macdonald live videos and thinking, this guy looks amazing for his age. Which he did.
RIP Norm... You brought laughter to a lot of people and that too with pure jokes and "stories".
Saw an little article about norm that featured his niece and she explicitly said that norm was in a lot of pain for this but pushed through. I love the man and he’s given us so much without us being able to thank him and show our love.
Looking at it now, you can tell he's in pain by how he's sitting, and by how soft his voice is.
Norm's sauce appeared hot...both in appearance, and demeanor.
I can’t think of any other of the great comedians who clearly loves to laugh as much as Jerry Seinfeld. It’s so good to watch him enjoying other people’s jokes that it almost makes everything that little bit funnier.
You know someone is truly confident in themselves when they give a laugh just as readily as they try to get one. Insecure funny people don’t laugh like that for other funny people

Honestly though, I love how there are so many people out there who just don't get him at all.. it just makes him that much funnier. wow. The way he delivers the line, "The wind!" His timing is impeccable! That's what drove Seinfeld to laughter - it was the punchline, "The Wind," but ONLY because of the way Norm hammered him with it: angle, velocity, impact force, etc. That is some O.G. comedic timing right there.

Some comedians are great with words but they miss the subtle elements which Norm did so well.
The timing was perfect, a master class in comedic timing, but let's give some credit to the set up, that is to hear the topic of conversation, then to deliver the set up, and then the punch line, it is the whole package that is impressive.

Jesus, I have never said this...... Thank god for CZcams, his memory will live on, to the masses, forever. Even the generations that didn't grow up with him will, somehow, someway, stumble across this diamond, and understand what comedy truly is. Fueled By Plants have you ever seen Screwed? It's starring Norm Macdonald Dave Chapelle and Danny Devito. Came out like 2000. It did absolutely horrible with critics and at the box office but I remember thinking it was hilarious when I was like 13. I'd love to watch it again if I ever find it. It was kind of a sandler-esque 90s movie, doesn't necessarily capture norm and daves brilliance, but check it out.

I laugh harder and think deeper listening to Norm have a casual conversation than I do watching another comedian's stand up special they repeated countless times for years in front of audiences to iron out the kinks and make it as perfect as they possibly can.

Had no idea what a treasure Norm was until recently. How I missed that thru the last 30 years is ridiculous. I knew he was funny and I enjoyed weekend update in my 20's, but he was actually next level. He was his own thing. He had integrity and values he held close. What a loss!
I never appreciated him as much when he was alive as I have in the last week listening to so many of his bits on CZcams. I have been laughing nonstop. He was a true genius, way smarter and more introspective than I gave him credit for. I guess maybe I was one of those who was jaded by his sometimes overdone and over-the-top Weekend Update segments. So sorry that I feel for two decades I missed out on his brilliant comedy. He was truly a comic virtuoso and one of the greatest of all time. RIP.
The cool thing you'll notice is that you can go down the same Norm rabbit hole every year and it'll all be just as funny.
Same here. Some artists aren't immediately captivating and require more attention. Can't just give them 30 seconds of half-attention and then get bored, you have to really give them your full focus. Now that I'm doing that with Norm, I see what I missed. Luckily it's all still here.
