Looks good. I have an older bag that I used on my VFR that lacks the organization of this one. Instead of using a rain cover, I use dry bags to organize my gear inside. Since my seat bag goes into the hotel when I tour, it always has my clothes. I hate finding the dryer if the rain cover doesn't work!

Excellent choice Robert! Agree with Larry/GoldWingMoments. Momentum Bags a series of diverse mix travel bag gear from Kuryakn are awesome. Quality, durable and loads of thoughtful storage. Adan from F6B_Adventures used this bag extensively for all his gear out on our 2800+ mile 6 day excursion to the Smokey Mountains and beyond. He packs a-lot with Video gear, etc. K’s bags really are priced for so much value too. I have a Momentum trunk rack mounted which I loved. As always, a well articulated over-view. Appreciate. 🙏🏻

I like the looks of that travel bag. I’ve been kinda looking for a bag since I took my trip to the dragon last summer. That looks like it will do everything I want it to do. The trunk won’t open very much I just packed stuff in the trunk I didn’t need to get at unless I needed to. Kept the stuff in there and took only the bag into the motel after all the trunk locks when you walk away from the bike. Enjoy your trip.

I just ordered this for an upcoming trip, Like I needed another bag 😂😂😂, I’ve got 3 other kuryakyn bags but they are square bottom and doesn’t fit the wing as well as I believe this will. I. Glad you covered the issue with trunk access just pack accordingly.

Very nice video. Well done. That lack of being able to get into the trunk while traveling would drive me nuts because I like to put my gloves and helmet in the trunk when I go into a gas station. I personally don't like to leave my helmet on the riders seat. I'm okay with putting it on the passenger seat because it has the surround of the passenger backrest wrapping around, making it flatter and more secure. I like using a small dry bag strapped to my trunk luggage rack to carry extra shoes and things I don't need until I go into the hotel.

Other than some difficulty with the trunk… it’s an outstanding bag !!
Take it out and see how it rides when loaded like that. It may catch crosswinds a bit. I know I can tell when large stuff is up high on my bike. My bike is a Yamaha FJR.

Very well done review Robert! That said, my comment has nothing to do with the bag, but more what I consider to be a design flaw by Honda. Before buying my GW I had a Harley Road Glide with a big ol' trunk on the back, and if you know Harley trunks you know that they open from the side. Because Honda's trunk opens from the back, having a big bag strapped to the back seat makes it either impossible to open the trunk, or at least a multi-step process as you have to remove the bag.The first long trip I took on my GW I found out pretty quickly just how annoying this is.

I've seen others use a bike cable and padlock to the passenger bars. They coil when not in use
