    What about the emergency brake connections on the rear brakes. I keep reading the ss and rs e brake connection is different.

    Do you recommend replacing the brake master cylinder from the v6 to the v8 for this project?

      Yes, most people who plan on keeping the V6 usually do so; not necessarily to soup the ever living hell out of it, but just simply for really good brake performance.

      It's been awhile but I believe I got the part numbers and ordered from Amazon or eBay. I do have some product links in the description but I need to search a bit more for some of the others.

      I personally got some off of Rock Auto. Mine is a daily, so I don’t need those RIDICULOUS expensive two-piece rotors from the ZL1…. Any solid 2nd gen CTS-V front brake rotors should work just fine. I stuck to semi-metallic brake pads as well, for performance reasons.
