I think the 20bc having more magnets but lighter ones makes it feel more magnetic throughout the whole turn rather than just when its close to being aligned.
With the amount of puzzles Moyu releases, they should really make an "LM" version of the WRM v9.

i tried both but i still like the 8 mag bc more because of being more light,fast and you can also feel the magnet strength more

I'm gessing the 20 bc has the same magnets as the picube one. I don't really like repelling magnets, and personally use the ballcore with edge pieces from the picube version.
@Speedcubereview do you normally do that 2look for that corner dot case, as thats what I do for it and mirror for lefty version.
It's still 1-look but just two smaller algs. I never liked the other algs, and it's a bit long but I feel more comfortable doing them like that.
@@SpeedCubeReview ironically found that alg myself when I was optimising my left over 2look algs, so I did something right lol 😆

I Can afford it, but I have lost interest with any new Moyu cube. It's a kind of fatigue. The only Moyu cube I bought since Dec 22 was the SE WRM V9, though they released about 30 cubes. I will only buy a Moyu if everybody said it really really good and it makes a real difference. This one is apparently another one with hard to tell, incremental improvement. Esp after buying the Guhong Pro, I have not been motivated to look for another cube.

pls compare them with the v9 special edition (it’s made by pi cube)
it is the v9 but without the edge repelling magnets and the core magnets and smaller and they swap out the maglev to spring
it also had teel interals it look amazing too it’s my main
I basically did that mod before the picube came out. It's fine, just a bit more stable feeling because of the springs but not anything that is worth a whole video on which is why I didn't make a full comparison.

I did 2 mods: UV modded with edge magnets removed (retained the maglev) and standard spring version loaded with YS3M-like core, edge and corner magnets installed. The modded standard version feels much better. I think it's may be more than spring or edge magnets problem. The UV pieces themselves, and the magnets strength within the pieces, are likely stronger. Other than the loss in the edge repel, the magnet bump and drag are still pronounced. The modded standard version has the feel of the V9 without the excessive magnets issues. In my personal opinion, it's even better than the RS3M V5. 😊

I dismantled my v9 ball core, as to assure that all screws have the same distance from the core, but the tool that comes in the box is totally useless! In addition the threads of the screw are not visible once connected to the core. How on earth am I supposed to assure that all four screws are screwed at the SAME depth in the core, before putting the cube back together?
I even my tensions once the cube is assembled. Turn all the tension settings to 9 (the highest setting), then check to see that the screw is poking out the same distance on all sides from the blue casing. Should be just a tad higher than the rim of the blue tension casing.

You can also use digital calipers to measure each one to ensure you have the same distance
I'm confused...so the Left cube is the stock 20 core? or is that the 20 core with the 8 core pieces?
The middle one is the 8 core with the 20 pieces?
The right one is just a stock 8 core?

That's really sad that those cubes does not have ajustable magnets 😢. I like the 8 magnets one, but would have loved it with stronger edge-center magnets to get a clickier feel
They removed it from the older weilong 2021, which had a great magnet adjustment. Why Moyu?

No, it's correct. It was a corner and an edge magnet that attracted which is the point of having 20 magnets.
