OK it's outa tune and my timing sucks - I was a bit intoxicated but I enjoyed the gig! There's much much better versions than mine on CZcams. Check them out and good luck! x
Bloody hell guys - its only a bit of fun! I was a bit drunk and thought I would try and show you how to play it -well sort of! Thanks for the positive comments-respect to George!
NICE! No talking, no lame-ass singing, no looking at your bedroom, just guitar, great song (sounds like a dead on to the original), and decent sound quality. People should study this video for how to post a guitar video.
Hi. The guitar is an early seventies (1972) Yamaha FG 340. They appear on E-Bay occasionally but are now quite rare. It's great to play and is very loud. Based on a Martin D28. Cheers. Ian
The guitar sounds so good! Of course it's YOU, the skill that you have to play this song... Good Job! Do you mind I ask you, what guitar brand or you using? Really sounds good...
How did you only hit certain notes? Like, when I try and play the "doo-doo-doo-doo" line on my guitar, I hit way more notes than I am supposed to, or the wrong strings in general. How can I only hit the ones I need while keeping the rhythm going?
Cheers for all the positive comments guys. Just think of what a trip it must have been to actually write this piece and have placed on the bedroom guitarist's 'Must Learn' songs.Love it. Peace man!!
Nice. I've been playing that since it was released. A recent improvement I made is to add the bass note on the E chord with my little finger on the 6th string, 4th fret (assuming the capo on the 7th is the "zero fret" so actually the 11th fret). Try it.
@@warren52nz You must have quite a few years of guitar playing under your belt. Im only just starting really hope to be decent someday. Have a nice day.
@@officialgamerz29 I started ukulele when I was 8 (1960), then guitar when I was 12. Was playing on stage at 14 (1967). Here's a couple of tips for you that you might find useful. Guitar playing (like any instrument) is all about *_practice._* For every 10 minutes you spend learning something, you gotta spend an hour or more running over and over it to get it perfect. And even when you think you've mastered it alone you'll find that the first time you try to play it to someone else you'll screw it up. 8^) You need the passion it takes to stay with it. If you get bored, try learning something you really like. Having old farts teach you something that's easy but you've never heard won't inspire you. Play something you'd LOVE to be able to and even if it seems too hard do it anyway. I learned "Classical Gas" for a girlfriend when I was 17 because she asked me to so I was pumped on hormones to do it. And I did! Even though it was WAY beyond what I could do when I started. Also make sure the action on your guitar is as low as possible (height of strings above the frets) otherwise it will be too hard to play. Cheers P.S. Girls really go for guitar players, it's true. Learn a love song.
@@warren52nz Thanks man, appreciate the tips! ive been playing a couple years but just not progressed a ton but I've picked it back up recently and I've been making loads of progress and these tips will come in handy and I sure do mess up when playing to others, guess I need to practice more haha. Cheers
OK it is a bit fast but thats what a couple of Vodka and Cokes (Diet) does to your senses. Bollocks! I enjoyed the gig too - even the cat on the table gave me a standing ovation.

Bump all 'at man, if you enjoy the playing, that's what counts! Keep up the good work!
I'm glad to see you play it with a flat pick. Harrison did it that way. It seems so many play it finger style because it's a safe way to play it.
Very nice job, man!

What's the name of that key chain looking thing you have over your fret?
HERE COMES THE SUN ♪♫♪♫♪♥ Turururuu..
Are you sing the fg700s by any chance?
WTF?, why does you says "It just sucks, it's outta tune", It's fantastic!
Its called a Capo and it is used to change the route key of the whole guitar. Cost about £12.00
brought george back
Drunk or not it still sounds nice!

Funny that! I counted 7.25 mistakes. This is meant as a basis tutorial -that means 'lesson'. Its not a performance.
Ok you were intoxicated, so i assumed you can't play that good when you're sober.
Sounds perfect. It would be extremely helpful to have it tabbed out, however. I'd be willing to pay for it.
comon a litle solw on this please
Yeah you're right, my guitar tuning was completely off :-(

The song sounds the most accurate if you capo the 8th fret
Haha the ending was funny
You should totaaly mak tutorial for this. I don't like playing with my fingers, prefer with pick.
haha u get so offended ur funny
