That relief that has the necklace hung from is of Lamashtu, a child-killing demon of ancient Mesopotamia, killer of men, dreaded daughter of the sky god Anu, amidst other epithets. If that step-mother’s touched by Lamashtu, I can see why she wants to have that child so badly.
She’s also touched by that certificate she had in her hands. One of the greatest evils on the planet. I have a feeling this is going to be epic!
