It was a beautiful wedding and the flowers were beyond beautiful. It looked like a fairy tale wedding.

We don't know for sure if the wedding was intimate and romantic. It could of only been a normal British wedding in a small chapel with very view people. It is how you organized the wedding that makes it intimate and romantic. An intimate and romantic wedding still needs all of the things that a big wedding have or even requires more than a big wedding in order for it to be beautiful. For example, a choir is needed, individual singing romantic songs should be a must have in that kind of a wedding, venue well decorated, beautiful poems, beautiful preaching and all kinds of other special things needed for a wedding to be intimate and romantic. A small intimate and romantic wedding will actually cost the couple and family more money. A big wedding at the other hand does not require all of these special things. It could be a simple church ceremony and still look extravagant because of its size. The reception is the only thing that will cost more in a big wedding. The truth is small wedding does not mean that the wedding is intimate and romantic if there isn't any plans for that

At 5.30 Note that the Queen Mary Fringe tiara was made using the many diamonds [not "A Diamond" as stated by the speaker] taken from another fringe tiara/necklace that Queen Victoria gave Mary as a gift, which Mary wore at her 1893 wedding at the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace, which was the original location announced for Beatrice's wedding.
At 0:57 "a royal first ..the public did not know about this wedding ahead of time". That is a false statement as it was definitely not a royal first.
Prince of Wales (future George IV) married Maria Fitzherbert secretly (and illegally)
His brother Augustus Duke of Sussex also got married secretly in Rome to Lady Augusta Murray.
Both weddings above took place without the knowledge or permission of the King & Queen (parents of the princes)

Thank you!! Also, the Queen didn’t “save” the Queen Mary tiara “specially” for Princess Beatrice. She approached “Granny” and asked if she could borrow the dress, and the tiara, to wear. The Queen was deeply moved & of course approved.

Respectfully, the Queen didn’t “save” this tiara specially for Princess Beatrice....Princess Beatrice approached “Granny” and asked if she could borrow her wedding dress - along with the tiara - It really deeply touched the Queen as she & Beatrice are very close.
