House never died. We're experiencing a grand return to big beats/breakbeats and club favourites now. Lockdowns did something good for a lot of us musicians. ;) Hope you enjoy some of the new house music coming out now.
This song was just one of the coolest tracks when it came out in 1996 it set the club on fire with Armand's Hip Hop Elements and Beats over Tori's Vocals it still gives me goosebumps and it 10 million times better than any music I have heard from the past decade.
Takes me back to 1997. Remember this playing at a nightclub in Detroit when Princess Diana died. This song takes me back to that time

I remember the first time i played this track in a club, still was an «import » here in France. The people couldn’t believe it was Tori Amos.
Became a huge success. The break and the second part after are exciting.
Still hands down one of the hardest hitting tracks ever produced. Easiest way to make a dancefloor loose their damn minds. Loved spinning this.

I was so shocked when a club in Dayton, Ohio played this out of nowhere one night, around the time it was making its way through the scene in Europe.

Was in the Sound Factory NY listening to this tune and didn't know Tori Amos but knew Amand Van Halden .What a mix, came back to London and went to the MOS the following week and heard it again wooow freaked me out
1996 and 18 in Chicagoland before heading to university at SIUC! I will never forget that summer and going to B96's B Bash at New World Music Theatre in Tinley Park.

This is a track from the mid 90s, ancient time in music terms but timeless if good music. If you happen to find the original LP/CD, hang on it, it is a part of history (and a damn good history for those whose bodies moved along the tune back in the days).
