it bugs me when he says you won't use this watch to tell time.

kinda dismissive about the indiglo feature---one of Timex's most popular features. But I guess you can see in the dark

+Ruby Smokee It's not that I can see in the dark, it's that I can count on one hand the number of times I've been in a pitch black room and needed to look at my watch. Realistically, it just didn't happen often to me. If you make use of it, then awesome! (And that's sincere, no sarcasm). I just personally didn't find it very useful.

      ok whatever

Why would it be better to pull your phone out to tell the time rather than just look at your wrist? The Indiglo is a useless gimmick? What's useless about being able to read your watch in the dark?

+MikeRyu There's always some other easier way to tell time - my car clock, my computer clock, my phone that is probably on my desk or in my hand and doesn't even need to come out of my pocket. When I wore this watch - which was for a couple years - I just never needed to see the time in the dark. The occasions are few and far between. Your mileage may vary of course, but the opinion stated in the video is mine and you have every right to disagree with it.

If you actually use the watch instead of using it just for it's looks; then you'll probably find the Indigo feature useful.
I hate taking my Phone out just to see the fucking time. it's just more convenient to look at your wrists.

+Benedict San Diego For me, there's always some other easier way to tell time - my car clock, my computer clock, my phone that is probably on my desk or in my hand and doesn't even need to come out of my pocket. Since I made this video, I got an Apple Watch (which is, yes, ugly as heck), and I still only rarely use it to tell the time. Surprisingly, my #1 use is
notifications, my #2 use is probably voice dictation for responding to
notifications, and my #3 use is probably for the weather. Telling the
time is probably like #10 or below.
The weekender was a fashion accessory first and a time piece second. Yes, I realize many people may find this dumb, but men don't get many accessories, so you have to make use of what you can. Something like the Apple Watch is the opposite - useful first and a fashion accessory probably dead last because it's horridly ugly.

Using your Phone to tell the time is almost like using a pocket watch.

I have a weekender and it tells the time and it is scratch resistant due to the crystal glass scratches can occur if you put a sharp point on to the watch face.. are you on medication because you keep looking to your left.

+Genesis ** I keep looking to my left because my dog kept doing stuff over in the hall and she was distracting me. I realized too late how distracting
this is to the viewer. My apologies.

ummm no offence to the reviewer... but i think this is a poor review..
its a decent quality for the price, customizable (straps are like $5 on amazon), indigo saves time and convenience (and perhaps even battery life on your phone), can be unisex (im a gent but i think a lady could pull it off), best of all simple and clean
great everyday watch that if damaged not a great concern to most

+tanbir rahman It is a decent price, decent quality, and is customizable - all points I mentioned in the review.
FYI, there's a smaller version of the Weekender for ladies, I believe, and I also believe there are ladies straps that aren't as wide.

I'm confused so the only place it get's dark where you live is a movie theater? I live in Boston and after 7 during September it starts to get dark and in winter around 5. I like to see the time when it's dark without having to pull out my phone. But I guess if I lived where you lived the indiglo feature would be useless

I don't get the whole "you're not gonna use it to tell time". Why wouldn't you use it to tell time? What's the point of wering it then? And also, are you high in this video? Because why do you keep looking to your left all the time?
