You need to upload more videos, I love your style/attitude lol.
Thanks for the video bro! I totally get you! (about the folding)
Havana.....not Havonna.
Who Is this men...Maybe Shaggy
Dum ass
get to the fuckin point!
Don't use any wax if you want keep a boot looking like a boot. Use a liquid protector only.
they look great on you.. looks terrible on me
1/2 a size or a full size down? I have the london's in a 9.5 and regular desert boot in a 9. Not sure why those fit like that. I wear a 10 in nike's and vans.
Cool shades dude. Now if in case you'd be looking for new sunglass lenses for these instead of buying a new one, you can opt the replacement lenses that we offer at attainable costs.
The ones that say casual aren't really for everyday use such as school or work if you want to use them for high activity use get the ones that say everyday or athletic socks you can see and feel the difference. I usually wear the casual with Nike slides when I'm relaxing at home or doing minor errands.
I'm confused so the only place it get's dark where you live is a movie theater? I live in Boston and after 7 during September it starts to get dark and in winter around 5. I like to see the time when it's dark without having to pull out my phone. But I guess if I lived where you lived the indiglo feature would be useless
Hey can i buy these from you?
What a winer!
exactly what i was thinking issa fukkin hater geezus chrust dont fukkin buy the folding glasses if u dont like the folding thing geeeeeeezus
Sorry, but this might be the most useless "review" yet on a product. At one point he says, " I hesitate to give these leather boots 10 stars because I like wearing sneakers". Nothing about the history, design, quality, care, longevity, etc..etc. Just a thin guy who likes to be on camera at the dining table for some reason.
does anyone have experience in 714 lens removal? really struggling with this pair. tried warm water...the frame seems so solid!
They do fold fine fully extended. Pull each ear piece down at the same time where they cross in the middle.
Could they be worn without socks, with shorts at church?
MAA_aircooled_66 gay
After 3 years do they still hold up well?
Bro, I have a lil bit bigger nose too. The point is, wearing Persol makes your outfit go to an another level. I have them in black frame/green lense and they look great! Here in Montenegro I pay 140 euros for 417 with polarized lense. And Persol lences can't be scratched. Cheers!:)
Another review without wearing the shoes, sucks
How loud is it ?
I skate for Richer Poorer and they told me not to wear the cotton crew socks(the ones shown in the video). They are made specifically for fashion wear and not for active wear. Any activity that involves heavy foot movement, I recommend their Athletic styled socks. Each box is labeled clearly so you don't grab the wrong ones! Hopefully this is a help to you and anyone interested.
Why would it be better to pull your phone out to tell the time rather than just look at your wrist? The Indiglo is a useless gimmick? What's useless about being able to read your watch in the dark?
+MikeRyu There's always some other easier way to tell time - my car clock, my computer clock, my phone that is probably on my desk or in my hand and doesn't even need to come out of my pocket. When I wore this watch - which was for a couple years - I just never needed to see the time in the dark. The occasions are few and far between. Your mileage may vary of course, but the opinion stated in the video is mine and you have every right to disagree with it.
kinda dismissive about the indiglo feature---one of Timex's most popular features. But I guess you can see in the dark
+Ruby Smokee It's not that I can see in the dark, it's that I can count on one hand the number of times I've been in a pitch black room and needed to look at my watch. Realistically, it just didn't happen often to me. If you make use of it, then awesome! (And that's sincere, no sarcasm). I just personally didn't find it very useful.
ok whatever
size?? 52 or 54
Great video! So you're a size 10 US or UK? I'm a size 9 US and I'm a bit confused on what size should I go. Thanks mate!
8 or 8.5
+Rodnel Lorilla My right foot is 9.5 US and my left one is 9 US. I got those boots in suede, size 9 US. So my right foot loves them, while the left one - not so much. The issue with these boots is that they do not offer a good support to the back of your heels (open a picture of them in Amazon, taken from the side and you'll notice that they are not "curved" at the back, as most shoes are) and therefore your heels would wobble with each step taken, making a nasty friction. When I try the boots with thicker socks, this wobbling is less noticeable, so I'd guess going for half a size down would be a good idea.
Should I go half a size down ?
how about the desert mali ? do u think they can be worn all year round
+Fonzie koleb Yeah, I'm here for Mali as well but turns out no one made a video on it as of now. I'm looking at it at Zappos but I'm really confused about the size. I usually wear 10.5 and I'm very confused if I should get 10 or 10.5
it bugs me when he says you won't use this watch to tell time.
These came with my purchase from shoes.com. Pretty dope so far, orange with pink and blue details. I'm digging them so far. They do do promotions apparently so maybe worth the try!
You have to appreciate that the design is from decades ago so don't say folding doesn't make sense. To you maybe but back then fashion was different from now just like many other things. You were supposed to choose the styles that appeal to you and I know Persol have them.
just got me a brand new one that is dark brown for $42
+FreeChipotle $42? great deal. Do you mind if I ask from where? A website? thanks in advance.
Persol review, Clarks review ... nice fashion taste (:
mmm.. I'd be careful about saying rayban and persol are the same company.. yes luxottica owns then both, but rayban are mass produced in a plant with a bunch of other fashion brands and are decent enough quality but not enough to justify the price, while persol are basically still handmade they way they've always been in their original factory. the lenses are one of the best out there also. it's kinda like implying Ferrari and fiat are the same because fiat owns Ferrari, if they still do.
NICE . Plz like my android gaming channel
Persol lence is scratch ressistant, just saying :)
ummm no offence to the reviewer... but i think this is a poor review.. its a decent quality for the price, customizable (straps are like $5 on amazon), indigo saves time and convenience (and perhaps even battery life on your phone), can be unisex (im a gent but i think a lady could pull it off), best of all simple and clean great everyday watch that if damaged not a great concern to most
+tanbir rahman It is a decent price, decent quality, and is customizable - all points I mentioned in the review. FYI, there's a smaller version of the Weekender for ladies, I believe, and I also believe there are ladies straps that aren't as wide.
the 649 and 714 are not the same because the 649 have a more severe slope than the 714.Next to each other it's pretty apparent
Hi there. I have borh sunglasses and it's the same model. The difference is in the folding mechanism and if you add such thing it's normal that they will be looking different. ;)
@@MNEAntonio No, they’re not. Different shape. Similar but definitely not the same.
what watch are you wearing?!?!?!?!?!?
+Ann Jewell I believe it is the Moto 360, first generation.
+Ann Jewell It was indeed a Moto 360. I don't have it anymore since I switched back to iOS.
Regular Clothes Reviews one off usss...
I have a pair of 714s, the Steve McQueen edition. I am thinking of getting the normal 714 instead as the folding mechanism on the 714 seem a lot smoother than the 714s - which often (I mean definitely always) scratch the bottom frame beneath the glasses to fold, and this has been bothering me since...
dlysele does the bridge folding mechanism still holds on after years of opening and closing? thats my biggers worry about the steve mc queen ones and the normal foldable one . please reply
@@Berindei_Stefan The bridge folding mechanism is fine, you might want a tiny screwdriver and tighten them up once a week or so but the mechanism itself is pretty solid.
@@attilab.2818 yeah well i didin't got those got the normal model wich i gave it to a friend so yeah but anyway thanks for the reply :)
If you actually use the watch instead of using it just for it's looks; then you'll probably find the Indigo feature useful. I hate taking my Phone out just to see the fucking time. it's just more convenient to look at your wrists.
+Benedict San Diego For me, there's always some other easier way to tell time - my car clock, my computer clock, my phone that is probably on my desk or in my hand and doesn't even need to come out of my pocket. Since I made this video, I got an Apple Watch (which is, yes, ugly as heck), and I still only rarely use it to tell the time. Surprisingly, my #1 use is notifications, my #2 use is probably voice dictation for responding to notifications, and my #3 use is probably for the weather. Telling the time is probably like #10 or below. The weekender was a fashion accessory first and a time piece second. Yes, I realize many people may find this dumb, but men don't get many accessories, so you have to make use of what you can. Something like the Apple Watch is the opposite - useful first and a fashion accessory probably dead last because it's horridly ugly.
Does sno seal help at all with conditioning? And is it okay to add sno seal on top of a leather conditioner?
+James McDowell Sorry for the late reply, but if anyone is still interested in the answer: sno-seal is amazing at repelling rain and since it soaks into the leather, I don't *think* you even need leather conditioner, but I might be wrong about that. I've personally never conditioned these boots other than with sno seal.
I love the metal hinges and the folding system... reminds me of the famous craftsmanship... the 714 was designed in the sixties, back when people used to wear suits all the time... so it was a diferencial... nowadays not so much, I think... I tried the 649, it's very nice too, but is more subtle than the 714, which are more robust...
exactly
I don't get the whole "you're not gonna use it to tell time". Why wouldn't you use it to tell time? What's the point of wering it then? And also, are you high in this video? Because why do you keep looking to your left all the time?
+Максим «EarthMoonTransit» Шилов not high--just stupid.
+Максим «EarthMoonTransit» Шилов I just don't. There's always some other easier way to tell time - my car clock, my computer clock, my phone that is probably on my desk or in my hand and doesn't even need to come out of my pocket. Also, I keep looking to my left because my dog kept doing stuff over in the hall and she was distracting me. I realized too late how distracting this is to the viewer. My apologies.
ok understood thanks for your response
Extremely informative video and very well done review. You helped me decide to purchase these boots (I had been on the fence a long while). Keep up the excellent work my brother.
Raphael Schwarz Thanks! Hope you're enjoying the boots. :)
I got a brand new pair today for $20 off of FB marketplace
It's probably a mentally superior human being who knows how useful the Indiglo feature is like an assassin, military expert, or the average person who doesn't want the goddamned light from their phone shining everywhere! HAHAHA... It's pretty much useless unless you're sick of checking your phone like some yoga obsessed soccer mom who is beating the all time record for child neglect. This guy is a douche!
+Fleetwood Crack Sounds like I struck a nerve! Sorry that you disagree. I guess our use cases vary, but the opinion stated in the video is mine and you are - of course - entitled to your own.
I have a weekender and it tells the time and it is scratch resistant due to the crystal glass scratches can occur if you put a sharp point on to the watch face.. are you on medication because you keep looking to your left.
+Genesis ** I keep looking to my left because my dog kept doing stuff over in the hall and she was distracting me. I realized too late how distracting this is to the viewer. My apologies.
You're a fucking idiot. Why, um don't you, um say um again.
+Seth Weaver Ummmmmm.
lol
When did he say "umm" even once?
Main reason i wear a watch........to tell time.
