USSSA reviews cost too much in lost balls
I’ve used the same cat 9 comp -5 for 2 years now and my 14u season is coming to an end. There’s almost no color on the bat left and it still is super good. Easily one of the best bats out there
How are you using usssa in 14u I have to switch to bbcor

new stadiums are nice and all but the setting that field is in is amazing with all those stone buildings around it.

Enjoyed the video. My son swung the Cat 9 Composite -5 for the last part of his 12u year and all of his 13u year. The bat is crazy hot and extremely durable. He probably has well into a thousand swings on the bat and it has no rattles, spider webbing, or cracks. It has been a fantastic bat. Thank you, for the reviews that you do. Your original video on the Cat 9 is what helped us select it for his next bat when we made the initial purchase and we have not been disappointed. Thank you!!!!
These videos are so dope!! I would love if you did the stealth exo, or the red one I use to have, it was a two piece composite and I used to hit complete bombs. 2005 - 2009 years

10u Major Team. We busted about 10 CF/Zoas this past year. We had only one Cat composite (cat 8 model year) start to shark tooth @ 51 weeks. Marucci replaced it with a Cat 9 Comp drop 8.
That thing has a few thousand swings on it, and it's still solid. No stress marks, spider webbing... Nothing.
Was never a Cat fan before, but the Cat 9 Comp has made me a convert. Gonna be hard to beat, even with the Cat X.

Picked up the Cat 9 comp for my son, literally same day I could get the cat X comp... Just not sure how much more Marucci can push it and keep them legal. And at $150 cheaper you had me sold on the 9! Love your channel!

Played against Oglethorpe in College and a couple guys from both teams hit it on the gym building! Definitely a poke to get it out there
The Hype is way overbuilt. Our hype has been rolled and has no less than 3k solid hits. It still look nearly new. I think it is more durable than a USSSA metal bat. We have the CAT 9 comp also. The Cat 9 Comp is hotter and has a bigger sweet spot. But the Hype will last generations
Lawn cut envy OMG!!! Could that field look any nicer, did you feel like you were floating on that bermuda.....nice video, great bombs by the young stud, but the real winner here are the D3 teams that get to play at that field and any local youth teams WOW!!

The barrel on the cat 9 is GIANT compared to the ADV. Also if you take a look at Blake's swing with both you can tell he was able to attack the zone with so much more consistency and most importantly, more confidence. Blake should be on the channel as he continues his baseball journey in life!
My son has -8 Cat comp he is 10u!!! It’s fire and he has hit bomb but does the sound ever change to know it has broken in more!!!!

In the 2022 cws players from Oklahoma used the Marucci catx connect (cat 10) you should try and find one it would be a cool video for cat 5 vs cat 10
The love ypu have the baseball was jsut like me, I would go to practices for kids and help out. Coach teams after my games and wanna go help kids jsut love the game and even if you aren't good yoy can still have fun and contribute to yourself and the team

I like the Easton hype -5 because I am used to swinging a heavy bbcor bat so I can handle it. If you are not very strong though it will not benefit you. If you are 13 and looking to drop bombs it is very good.

Dumb Question: What is the difference between the Cat 9 Connect and the Cat 9 Composite? All the ones I see say Connect on the barrel. I can't find one that says Composite.

Im a little surprised to see this to be honest. My son swings a 30 drop 8 (8u) and he smashes with it. Has no problem finding the barrel on it. And it doesnt seem to ring him up unless its a bad mishit. Obviously hes not near as strong as you guys, but he's hitting 160-165ft at high 50's, low 60's exit velocity. So a little surprised to see this. Ill have to revisit the cat9 again, but he chose the Hype over it when we did bat tests.
