I have the Easton hype I have used the cf 2021 for a year now it broke getting a new 2022 version soon my opinion the hype looks like a USA bat in comparison

My son has a 2020 DSB Swag 30” -8. He’s tried the new ZOA and HYPE. Nothing come close to his DSB. He’s 11 and easily goes 270’ during tournaments all the time. An extremely balanced bat perfect for contact or power hitters.

Those are older videos. He plays a lot of games and very few of his at bats are taped. He's always preferred older bats, but he tries all new ones.

Definitely a 31/23 since he’s bigger and stronger he should definitely be swinging a bigger and heavier bat

My son has a -8 ZOA. We have 2 other kids on the team 11U that snapped their ZOA’s in half during games. Extreme pop comes with a price and headaches of sending bats back. Luckily my sons is still going well because he uses his DSB over all his bats.
Is a drop -10 to light for a 12 year old?
Depends on the 12yr old
A 12 year old is gonna break a drop 10 composite most of the time. Get the correct balance in a drop 8 if you can. The bat will hold up better.
I’m 12 almost 13 with a 32,-8 2022 meta, I like it.
-10 in usssa is the lightest bat you can get for a 12 year old. For a mid size 12 year old are a smaller guy, getting a drop 10 is a good choice. for a bigger guy, a heavy -10 or -8 would be a better choice. I swing the cat 9 comp -5 last year and i was in 13u. I have power and can swing heavier, so I could handle it pretty well. Mainly depends on the kid

We had both new out of wrapper and they didn’t sound the same. Diff production dates, even the paint shell affects the compression of a bat. They weigh the same but it’s not the exact same bat. True, last yrs we didn’t break in before the vid.

I wanna go where 12U plays on a 200' Field!! Where we play DFW...12U field are almost always 250 and many 300 to CF.
Silas is 11, Colton and Evan are 12. They play on the big field too. Getting a 250 to shoot vids on at night is tough.
