As an indian, I watched this interview and I cried. I could totally relate to when she said she didn't have a father to look up to when growing up. It is so terrible that this Indian guy wasn't there in her life because her life would have been infinitely changed for the better had he been. I come away thinking I must never do this to my daughter. But truly God has blessed you soo very much Venus Raj because look at all that you have achieved in this life in spite of the cards that you have been dealt.

I met her at our school and had a long conversation with her. It was a Christian program for the youth where I was the emcee. Venus is prettier in person and such a genuine character. Her words are sincere and you just can feel it. She was very open about her "major, major mistakes" which inspired all of us present. The way she has given up her life for Christ is something very inspiring.
Thank you Toni G for this platform, this brought me back closer to God I was once a mediocre devotee who had given bare minimum faith, trust and time for Him, sometimes withdrawn my faith to Him whenever I'm struggling and being skeptical sometimes, always wondering what's my purpose for I haven't done anything special, that I can call, but when I read the book of Rick Warren " The Purpose Driven Life", which Miss Toni said from some of her vlogs, I fully understand now how I should live life, known my purpose and broaden my commitment to God. Even though she didn’t get the Miss Universe crown and i honestly to say that i was disappointed to her answer way back MU2010 but i really really love her and i was inspired by her story. Pinanood ko yung MMK nya sabado ng gabi pero yung nanay ko pinatay yung tv namin kasi mahal daw ang kuryente so pumunta pa ako bahay ng kaklase ko ng biglaan para makanood ng life story nya at sinusubaybayan ko sa UKG every morning. And she is the reason why i was always watching Binibining Pilipinas 2011 and Miss universe up to present. Just like what the other pageant expert here in the Philippines, She put our country back in the game in 2010 in the top 10 to the top 5 after a decade and winning 4th runner up. She could never be erase in the Philippine Pageantry History. I’m happy to know that she is happy in her life now. Love you Venus.
The way she walked during the Miss Universe Pageant during her time I think is the best. She exuded a lot of confidence, poise and grace. She is so beautiful and natural, there is no need to try hard. She is the best for me.
Everything happens for a reason, and Venus Raj is the best example. She became the drought breaker in Miss U. She became the foundation of PH as powerhouse in the world of pageantry. And she is the best example of strong independent woman that could fight for her dreams and passion.

I think, most of us yun din ang "major-major" mistake sa buhay. Believing that having someone and being in a relationship and putting your purity at stakes. We are all broken and just trying to live.
Toni’s interviews speaks from the heart. You don’t need to be smart or rich to be able to comprehend her life lessons but you just need to look in your inner corner and feel that you are just like them. Your are lost but you are found.

She was authentically pure hearted and great full. She oozed that energy. Even to this day, she’s still so authentically herself.
Missed opportunity: Recognizing her as the one who started the streak for The Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant. Not to discredit all the women who succeeded her, they are all equally beautiful and they did well too.

As an indian, I watched this interview and I cried. I could totally relate to when she said she didn't have a father to look up to when growing up. It is so terrible that this Indian guy wasn't there in her life because her life would have been infinitely changed for the better had he been. I come away thinking I must never do this to my daughter. But truly God has blessed you soo very much Venus Raj because look at all that you have achieved in this life in spite of the cards that you have been dealt.

I met her at our school and had a long conversation with her. It was a Christian program for the youth where I was the emcee. Venus is prettier in person and such a genuine character. Her words are sincere and you just can feel it. She was very open about her "major, major mistakes" which inspired all of us present. The way she has given up her life for Christ is something very inspiring.

Thank you Toni G for this platform, this brought me back closer to God I was once a mediocre devotee who had given bare minimum faith, trust and time for Him, sometimes withdrawn my faith to Him whenever I'm struggling and being skeptical sometimes, always wondering what's my purpose for I haven't done anything special, that I can call, but when I read the book of Rick Warren " The Purpose Driven Life", which Miss Toni said from some of her vlogs, I fully understand now how I should live life, known my purpose and broaden my commitment to God. Thank you Miss Toni for sharing your wisdom through it you saved me and my faith. ☺️

Even though she didn’t get the Miss Universe crown and i honestly to say that i was disappointed to her answer way back MU2010 but i really really love her and i was inspired by her story. Pinanood ko yung MMK nya sabado ng gabi pero yung nanay ko pinatay yung tv namin kasi mahal daw ang kuryente so pumunta pa ako bahay ng kaklase ko ng biglaan para makanood ng life story nya at sinusubaybayan ko sa UKG every morning. And she is the reason why i was always watching Binibining Pilipinas 2011 and Miss universe up to present. Just like what the other pageant expert here in the Philippines, She put our country back in the game in 2010 in the top 10 to the top 5 after a decade and winning 4th runner up. She could never be erase in the Philippine Pageantry History. I’m happy to know that she is happy in her life now. Love you Venus.
The way she walked during the Miss Universe Pageant during her time I think is the best. She exuded a lot of confidence, poise and grace. She is so beautiful and natural, there is no need to try hard. She is the best for me.

I was lucky to attend CCF 2 years ago, and she was one of the resource speakers back then. ❤ She tackled accepting LGBTQ+ Community in the church. I learned a lot from her, and of course nagpapicture ako hehe
