Derek is really a good man. When we had a medical mission for his birthday in his home at Palawan, he was not a celebrity. He even cleaned their pantry and sorted out things. Eat with us, and the family gave us superb accommodation in their beautiful rest house. Thank you for such experience.

Thanks Derek and Toni for having him. I relate a lot to Ellen and Derek. Coincidentally, my fiancé’s name is also Ellen and also a single mom but of three. Our relationship being BF/GF turned to engagement pretty quick. We are 20 years apart, I’m the younger one. I’m 30 she is 50. Being a Dad of three respectful and great kids only shows how great of a woman she is. She was an OFW for 20 years, just to raise her kids alone. Now, I live my life ensuring her that she has assurance and most definitely, no longer having another broken family and future marriage.

As a single mom.. this is what i am teaching my son..and after he watched it with me i told him na this is the reason why i always sit down with you when you did something wrong..i want you to know and acknowledge that it is not good and you will learn.. Also as a single mom.. it is great that he has matured.kase when you are a single mom and been into relationships if your man is insecure they will always compete with your attention.tendencies pa e ilalayo nya loob mo sa anak mo. As a single mom.. this is what i am teaching my son..and after he watched it with me i told him na this is the reason why i always sit down with you when you did something wrong..i want you to know and acknowledge that it is not good and you will learn..
Also as a single mom.. it is great that he has matured.kase when you are a single mom and been into relationships if your man is insecure they will always compete with your attention.tendencies pa e ilalayo nya loob mo sa anak mo. That is why I always say I am contented with what I have. I have peace, I am contented and w/everything that I am lacking it is always the Lord that will provide for us. But if the Lord would blessed me with a man that would understand that my son is w/me through ups and downs,that this son has formed the woman he fall inlove with and would fully accept that once and until now I am not perfect and would,and have and will make mistakes then he is welcome.. I know that not everyone has a chance like ellen to derek and derek to ellen.atleast at night I am at peace and will always be happy for these people.

Derek has a point ,it’s really important to choose the right one , mahirap yung Malaki differences niyo ,magkaiba ng paniniwala,culture etc importante yung Hindi ka lang ready financially emotionally din .Are you ready enough to take care of someone, are you ready to sacrifice ? sa generation natin ngayon tama yung sinabi ni Derek na gawin mo muna lahat ng gusto mo until 30's or 40's bago ka mag settle sa buhay. which is totoo kasi kaya madaming broken family kasi kht hndi pa ready bumuo ng pamilya eh ginagawa nang mag pamilya na hndi pa kaya basta ikkasaya nyo lang. mas iniisip lang kasi natin yung ngayon hndi yung future natin.
