    I left prime in November. Leasing with a company in Orlando. When I take off I don’t have to make a truck payment and can stay out for as long as I want.

    Having a lot of overhead puts you in a ball and change position, but I like the retirement in weeks at a time while you’re still young to enjoy it! I am 73 have more time and money now to do things, but wife not healthy and can’t do stuff anymore, hell getting old! Work on your overall expenses and enjoy your time more, like your videos, take care, I will talk to the Big Guy about it for you!

      @@tidestacker4674 It is hard to balance that patience for what the future will bring and a good time right now. It is important to be honestly responsible. I know I wasted pretty much all of my 20s on instant gratification crap. So I try to be more weary of my decisions.
      Getting old is the worst!!! Except for the part where you can actually afford to do stuff😜. And the fact you are too old to do the stuff you wanted to do by the time you are able to😩. Working on coming to terms with that😅… and staying childish 🙃.
      Thank you so much for writing this🙏🏻. I’ll keep you both in my prayers as well😊.

    Also when I worked at prime I never used the express bay nor the tractor shop for maintenance, only time I used the shop was for tires, I had many bad experiences at prime shops, I drove a 2023 Volvo so I always took it to the dealership for the pm’s and to thermo king for the apu, never had a problem and was always quicker than waiting for the tractor shop to have openings, not all prime “mechanics” are specialized like that, only truck u could have a little peace of mind with at the shop is the Freightliner but everything else take it to the dealership directly.

    • @Peruviantrucker
      @Peruviantrucker  Před 8 dny

      Which is why Freightliner is the way to go😉. I didn’t have to wait to get my PM stuff done. That was done at the express bay. It was the windshield, tire and DOT that I needed appts for. But still within reasonable time. In and out within 14 hrs.

      @user-fl7pw3vl3t Před 8 dny

      @@Peruviantrucker well the Volvo dealership always took me quick and already knew me, I trust them more than I trust prime to work on a Volvo, when I had a Freightliner they caused more issues at the prime shop afterwards that’s how I started to not trust the shop, and one time I had my apu pm’s done and when I took it to thermo king they said whoever did the maintenance did a terrible job, so ever since I never took my truck to prime for any thing that was not tires!

    Sounds like you have all your "maintenanace" accounts set up quuite accurately. That's the way I had to run my budgets at the hotels, usually a bit more than yours - usually the annual amounts of $2 to $4 million - with monthly hlp (electric, water, sewer. gas) over $100,000.00.. Let's talk some $$$😀😀😀
