You could feel the fear of Kim when she got the phone call that Adam had been shot. For the first time ever she is truly scared of losing him. If Adam makes it through, Kim should ask him to marry her. They need to make it official.

Chicago Wednesday left us wanting to know what will happen in the next three season updates.

Fire: Will Mouch survive, Severide return and Casey and Brett tie the knot?

These are the questions that will haunt us until we have the new seasons. 😮😮😮

Kim and Adam are the most tragic people in the unit. Kim has been shot the most and Adam has been betrayed the most.

Ig the only person left is Torres...poor guy hasn't done the right of passage, which apparently is getting shot and left for dead.

Last night's finale was a cliffhanger! Now we'll have to wait for Season 11 this fall to find out the fate of Ruzek and I'm glad they killed the white supremacist character.

Hope Ruzeks savior complex is dampened by this. After 10 years of police work you would have gotten the message.
You know, I've always hated it when they end the season with a potential death of a regular character. And I still do to this day. Ugh!!!

.... this suspense is just the way to balance the scales between them ( the loss , the pain ......., one promise ) and delay the end that they deserve like as a family , everything wil be alright in the end
Used to love this show but its became quite obvious how they are scared to kill characters off....how many times have they all been shot or kidnapped now and always make it through? this cliff-hanger is pointless as we all know he'll be fine next episode anyway.
Jay - constantly shot and kidnapped but always fine
Kim - Shot by a shotgun close range and survived then got shot twice and left for hours and survived
All of them constantly get shot and survive its predictable as hell.
You forgot Hailey survived an explosion. And Erin survived getting kidnapped and had a knife to her throat when Jay blew the guy's head off.
Edit: Hailey also just survived a kidnapping and car accident.
So Olinsky, Jin, Voight’s son, Anna, Benny Severide, Shay, Otis? Etc. Yet the shows are too scared to kill ‘em off? Yeah okay. It’s all about suspense.

The last character death was Alvin in season 5 we’re on season 10 bro going onto season 11…now count how many times one of them was shot since season 5 to season 10.
Do these cops have god mode? how do they keep surviving every gunshot and kidnap situation? 5 seasons with over 20 episodes each and not one character has since died and do you know why? because everyone loved Alvin and moaned when he got killed off so now the writers are scared to kill off characters hence what I’m saying is true.

On Fire , Munch is badly wounded, in hospital, where was Trudy , good cliffhangers , but confused
The three shows are not always set in the same time frame.

Trudy was with Mouch. They only mentioned it. Christopher took over and sat by his side when they believed Mouch was out of the woods.

Am I right in assuming that all these and other comments saved Ruzek's character? He is my second best character after Voight. It would have left a huge dent in the show for me had they decided to kill him off.

I'm just saying is he dies I'm done. This shows shock factor killing off main characters is getting old. That and the first victim in every episode dying and someone getting a call, "that kid you shot, he just died" nonsense. Aside from that...(and the fact him getting shot was crazy predictable) this was an amazing episode. I'm shocked they didn't have Adam suspicious/knew he would call the grabdfather since it was clear he was being groomed by him. The moment the kid went to pack and said, "can we invite grandpa" it should have been red flags as it was me to all the characters. 😂 but still, I enjoyed it. Chicago pd is the best of chicagos and I can't wait for more!!
