A treble is possible but Leverkusen needs to stay away from that idea. They don’t have the depth nor experience to pull that off. 1st priority should be Bundesliga, 2nd DFB Pokal, 3rd is UEL.
Yeah that is true. In germany, a Bundesliga title has waaaaaaay more weight than the DFB Pokal or the UEL. CL Trophy would be something else but the Bundesliga should be their main focus. Since this video they have won 2 more games. Now they need 9 more wins out of 11 games left (unless Bayern slips) and they won the league. Until now they can also be the first team ever in germany and the 2nd team overall in Europe that has done what arsenal did in the esrly 2000s

They are in the rare position of finding themselves above City- they need to seize that opportunity by concentrating all energy, focus, and form into the league, not the FA Cup or the Europa League, which is truthfully beneath Liverpool’s level and thus not worth spending energy and risking injuries on (all due to respect to the UEL I love that competition but it’s the truth for a European titan like Liverpool).
Premier League > FA Cup > Europa League in that order. Seal a domestic double or even domestic treble, send Klopp’s kids for the Cup and UEL.
