- Hands-down, this is one of the most built out Campervans I have ever seen.
In today’s video, we feature Dominic and his full-time van dwelling that has endured a New Jersey cold winter. The van is built out by 27 North to the custom specifications that he required in his van downtime. He rents it out which helps pay for the monthly payments. this fan features a mega lithium battery system, 3000 W inverter, a rooftop full of solar, a gasoline generator, a gas, heating system, a full shower with cassette toilet, a dishwasher, a electric oven, and many more super features.

Love the van but also loved how he makes sure it's comfortable for his dog... looks out for him.
That van is almost as amazing as the loyal doggo-friend. What a set-up. Thanks for the walkaround from Norway across the Pond.
Glad you enjoyed it
Buddy is beautiful 😍 I've never seen a dishwasher in a van. Nice van🎉
Me neither
Beautiful build! I love all the safety/security features. This is a MUST for a single traveler, with or without a dog.
Always felt super secure!
Man I want this van so bad it has all the comforts and it's so cosy
Great dog!
True
🤣👍👏🏻
I am ready to buy a similar and winter insulatet home van like this with maximum amount of solar panels on the roof in about a year.
What will you estimate the cost to be? I am living in Sweden in the south, and it needs to be delivered here?.
My Buddy! :-)
Best part your beautiful furry buddy he practically never left your side 😊
So true
I like the dishwasher. I also like the decor. There are some different elements, I enjoyed seeing them.
Thanks so much! 😊
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventuresI want to do a semi trailer with R-50 or higher.... Milled square log wall interior, marine shipping container exterior ... Main focus is on moisture /vapor preventing mold /condensation... Any advice or any one that has experience building similar?
This Jersey girl wants this van! It hits everything I need and want for myself as well as my furbabies! I may just want a gas top. I'm sure that glass top would break with me.. lol clutzzzzy..
Thanks again, Patrick for another amazing find!!!
This is an amazing van! All the comforts of a brick and mortar home. :-)
It really is!
Really doesn't need anything else, the dishwasher is a unique feature I think most van travelers would not want but......
❤❤❤❤
Simply going on. Great job ❤❤❤❤
For anyone who has had food poisoning having a dishwasher that heats water to 130°+ becomes a serious want. 😊
Wow! Thanks for featuring this van build.
Dishwashers help to conserve water, because they use less water than hand washing.
Wow! I know I use that word a lot too. But it fits. Actually wow wow wow - amazing! Thanks Patrick & Dominic!
Our pleasure!
SimpliSafe? who needs that when you got Buddy? 😍
Because sometimes you are out hiking/walking the dog, and it’s nice to have some protection on the RV.
😂
This Promaster build is awesome! What a great home! I think you got it right the first time, and have a unit that will give you many happy years to come! By the way, I also have a Waggle system (for 3 or 4 years now) that I think is a must if you have pets. Thank you so much for the tour!
I’ve seen more than a few Van builds, this one by 27°N is EXCELLENT! Dishes are a pain in a van, and to be able to stick them in a dishwasher, do a quick rinse, wash them all and sanitize them when full is Genius. The drop down bed with the dining/work area underneath is the perfect use of space! My only question is if that wonderful 🐶 comes with the van? Can we rent it for a weekend? 😊
Awesome, thank you! Daily and weekly rentals available, dog not included
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures LOL!
Nice rig…and geezum that dog is friggin’ beautiful.
Throughly enjoyed the tour. I felt everything outlined definitely 💯 a great livable or rental. Love the additional features and generator. Thank you.
Really cool van. Dishwasher is really nice and hopefully saves on water. Generator addition is great! 27 north does quality build. But the Pup is star of the show 😊
The best part is the doggo, so well behaved!
Nice van. Love Buddy and he pops up for the camera every chance he gets. I take my dog (Also named Buddy) every place on my motorcycle in a k9 dog backpack .
So cool
Dishwasher is awesome. Figure out on of those micro clothes washer from the marine industry and it would have everything.
Wow, this is a very impressive build. I never thought I'd see a dishwasher in a B van. I wonder if they could put in one of those washer/dryer combo machines instead 🤔. Thank you both for doing this in freezing weather.
That would be cool!
Oh, wow! Now, there's an idea. 🤔🤯
we actually planned on having a mini washer and dryer, but we used up a lot of storage place and decided to cut it out. However, you definitely can get a mini washer / dryer combo in this van w/some floor plan adjustments.
i prefer this layout❤
well thought of!
I do too
Man that van build is perfect!! Surprisingly spacious inside. And that kitchen got all the appliances you need. Although the dishwasher is rather excess, but then again why not. The seating area looks quite cozy under the raised bed, which in itself is a space saver. And the bathroom is nice too. The cassette toilet is a nice touch too - especially when you grabe the cassette from the outside. And the fact that the van got both solar and a generator well thought too
Thanks for the tips!
The generator adds a lot of freedom to enjoy all the power you want, but TBH, when I was living in the van I rarely used it. The 600 watts of solar and huge battery provides ample power, but I'm glad we did it.
Great build. Really packed in the features. Very impressive.
Glad you like it!
Calling this a "very unique floorplan" is reallyyy stretching it... The only thing that I would even consider to be unique is the oven placement. Other than that, it's literally the same basic floorplan that 99% of vans have.
We chose a standard floor plan however, we modified that plan by adding the elevator bed and extending the lounge area to 32 inches deep. We eliminated the dinning table and put two table mounts. We also added additional outlets and a water outlet for a Washing Machine. Overall, the basic floor plan is pretty standard.
Nothing revolutionary at all.
Still a nice van though.
Very pleasantly surprised to see that you have a new video out this morning. Great way to start my Saturday 😊
Hope you enjoyed it!
Enjoy gotta be a sheep. Who enjoyed that stupid video with manufactured people trying to take advantage of the system trying to get advantage of working class people who want to build their own vans
This is definitely one of the nicest setups
Really nice. Thanks guys.
Our pleasure!
Loving all the comments! Currently getting ready for our 7th and 8th Adventure.
That’s an incredible van!
I have abused the "this is the best van I've ever seen" comment many times, but this IS the best one yet! Surprisingly big inside, everything you need and more (dishwasher is an excess, in my opinion, but heck, why not). The fact that the heater and generator tap onto the gas tank is perfect, the auto on for the generator is an excellent plus! The fridge is one of the largest I've seen in a van of that size, thirty gallons of fresh water is amazing, big sink, excellent shower and shower head, even a roof top deck...perfect van! My only concern is the under-body generator; the worrier in me think is too low, but you wouldn't take that awesome van off road anyways. Perfect for the city and the coastline!!!
Unfortunately not a city like Houston. Regular cars “bottom out” on some roads and parking lots! I would have to spend the money and have a van lifted or there would be damage underneath.
I agree w/the generator so we added 1.5 in lift. However, light off roading only; LOL.
Fabulous. I could move right in.
Fabulous! Love Budy!!
Love this van. Love the colors too. Great choices and great build.
I really enjoyed this van tour. Well done tour, well done filming, well done van.
Glad you enjoyed it
When I build my van, I will hide all the controls. But I really like this build overall. It has a good feel.
I agree, I wasn't supper happy w/the control center. However, working w/27 North they have made some great changes. Next time.
@@ViralVans I think a cover could be made for the monitors. But given the totality of the build, I'm just nitpicking at this point.
@@NoteFromSELF that's a simple fix; you can just turn off the monitor. However, when I'm traveling I like to keep them on so I can quickly look up if I'm sleeping and hear something I need to check out.
@@ViralVans I don't mind the monitors being on all the time, I just want as many utilitarian items as possible to be hidden. It's the minimalist in me.
Nice Van! I love your dog
Ty❤
Awesome thanks for a tour
Awesome van! Best wishes for fun and safe travels!!
This is a beautiful and well thought out van. It’s probably one of the best I’ve seen
Love this build! ❤
Yay, thank you!
We love you guys!! Keep it up!!!
Awesome build
One of the best build I’ve seen
Great Build
I love this van
Looks amazing bro!!
The dishwasher blew my mind! Give that dog a treat! Good boy.
Me too
This is a great build. I would like to know about the "extra" insulation. Especially, as the doors are still metal on the interior, without any obvious buffer for blocking heat or cold conduction. Also, would love to know more about the elevator bed, the glass breaking alarms, and the oven details. I love this video, and not once am negative about who built it, but how it was built and the unique touches given it, which gets MY creative juices going for my own build. 😊 Thank you for putting out another wonderful video. I know a lot of work goes into them. ❤
Very nice. Cozy neat. Love it
Thank you! 😊
Fabulous
Great 👍
So clean!
Appreciate it!
it was definitely a daily chore w/the dog. hair ...
Great design! I'd probably take out that convention oven and use it for more storage.
Great run through, Patrick! Happy Easter!
Storage can be any issue, but there's tons of cabinet storage and a big garage. However, the more the merrier!
Great van great review
Glad you enjoyed it
I love it especially the power generator it's perfect you might go out then you have low energy so option generator it's perfect
the generator was a game changer! Especially during cloudy days!
He must alot of fun in that van with his BF
Nice build! Never seen an oven and dishwasher in a van. I've been living in my Solis PX for six months and wouldn't need but I can see if you're renting it out. Very nice!
This is cool. Super informative. There are pleated tailored grey merc. curtains for privacy. I would get those. The Roman shade is too cumbersome in this window. Idk. though im not there. No color allowed haha.
So cool!
I Love this van especially the security features with is awesome, i'll take note to those features. I would get a small oven and get a mini washing machine instead of the dishwasher and it would be perfect it. this van is so cool. i'd like more storage like closet or bookcase. another option I was thinking of doing not sure if can be done but have on the roof catch rain water and fill a tank inside the van with rain water for the toilet and if had filtration system use the rainwater for the shower.
Glad the video was helpful
I love the rain idea. Our roof is pretty packed, but there are air to water generators that can produce up to 6 gallons of water daily. This would allow for a smaller fresh water tank opening up more interior ideas.
I especially love the auto temp. system you have in place. And all the terrific amenities! Dishwasher! Oven! Great Fridge and Freezer! Big deep sink! What other type mattresses could you install? This is the first van layout I truly would choose! Have you parked in Urban areas? Could you share the time needed for this build and the costs? Including all the upgrades? Thank you!
Nice rig, has everything....(dishwasher..?!). Smart. 👌✨
Yes, thanks
Insulation, don't do a d*** thing when it's cold. Your vehicle is cold and it's hot. The vehicle is hot insulation doesn't do a d*** thing to it except slow down the mold.
The guy is addicted to the word "GREAT" LOL
not bad for 200k
Incredible features to the van. The only problem is the Unending gray. It gives the place the look of a business work space. No offence, gray and taupe are still overused today. Color lifts the spirits for many people, others prefer gray black taupe. But it is impressive.
Roof deck to. I gotta build
Oh yeah
Your could build a basic simple van with fixed bed, portable generator, no shower or a/c, heat and portable toilet for 10k over van cost and have good time with it. I did it in my early twenties. But if you can afford it , it sure nice to have a van that does it at a high level of comfort like this van
That's a waste of money . 10k plus van cost sounds miserable
It’s great when your twenty, better than sleeping in car, now at 70 I need a van like this
Amazing for a 136 build. They have stuffed everything into this that you could think of and then some. I was waiting for him to point out a washing machine 😂. Maybe put the clothes in the dishwasher. 😂
we actually purchased and planned a mini washer and dryer, but cut it at the last minute. #toomuch
Too many uses of the adjective 'great'. Really impressed with the tech though and this is the first time Ive seen a dishwasher in a van build.
Beautiful, and I love all the security, but I'll bet there are people who could shimmy in through the toilet port! 😧
Wow. Incredible build with everything you need. Dishwasher, oven, always bed, amazing. What water. does he drink? Bring with him or clean the water from the faucet?
the water if filtered.
Will you add more solar panels? Am I understanding you have three sources of power? No propane. A Generator. An 800 watt battery. And solar?
Being honest I'd rather a small washing machine than a dish washer seems a when just you, could skip thr oven too but apart from that it's great, should tinit windows too
Sprinkled
🎉Patrick🎉
Hello 👋
How long is the two twin beds under big bed that goes up and down? 72" by chance?
The lounge area is deep, but the two sides are about 54 inches.
OMG! Did he miss anything 😳😁
😂
How does your water not freeze when it is that cold outside? And is the heating gasoline or propane. Nice build but I am going to guess this cost as much as a house. Live that fridge and bed!
Hey! So we did have our grey water tank freeze over. Tip: keep your valve upen in freezing weather. The heater was AMAZING. It runs off the gas and is only 12v. The van cost about $200k all in.
👍Do you have the make'model of motion sensing light?
the cabinet lights? I ordered them from amazon.
You guys must be in THE MOST Northwest part of Sussex county cause I live in Essex county and I haven’t seen the temps drop to 15 degrees this entire winter 🥴
It was brink in Jersey this winter. I was also out west and it was so cold the grey water tank froze over. I definitely recommend a thermostat in any van build. It did an amazing job keeping the inside of the van very comfortable regardless of the weather.
The most water I have seen in a van was 75 gallons. Almost all have 40 gallons an under. The most I’ve seen in a bus was 400 gallons 40ft bus. The average bus has about 100 gallons sometimes 200. Some of these small shuttles vans have 12 passengers. 12 x200 pounds is 2400. I saw online these vans can carry 6400 pounds. Why is there not more water? You should be able to put at least 100 gallons in these (4) 25 gallon water tanks evenly. That’s only 800 pounds. Buses should carry 200-400. The wonderland comes with 200 pounds & can be custom made for more. It waste too much gas to go get water. If these carried more water many more people would be interested . They need vans that carry more weight specifically designed for this. Water trucks almost the same as buses can carry 50,000 gallons or more. I get people don’t want to drive with this but driving you would not stay full. You would only fill up right before boon docking.
Cost of house almost with land?
Dudes been in retail for 30 years. Looks not a day over 35! So young bro!
Does your van not have a black water tank since your toilet is a cassette type of toilet?
No, if I remember your description.
So what does that do to your insurance when you rent out the van ? If they get into an accident you’re the owner and you can be sued if it’s the drivers fault. Can you explain please.
I believe you buy insurance when renting it.
What is the exterior length of this? Didn't see anything this short on 27 north
22 feet
27 North is focusing on Sprinter Vans. I requested the Promaster for our build.
The biggest thing is water these need more water.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I wonder how many gallons the dishwasher takes
about a gallon
Huge huge lounge area 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wait… a dishwasher?!? Tell us more about that!
What is the cost of the build???
all in a little over $200K
A very posh camper van
Did he say he worked in retail? How in the world did he afford this vehicle?…. I think this is a beautiful van and a beautiful build, but my brain can’t wrap around the amount of money spent to live in a vehicle that for every mile you put on it, the wear and tear depreciates to the point it eventually it has to be replaced. If you’re driving around and seeing various places, 100,000 miles can be easily put on a vehicle very quickly……this is why I haven’t made a van build commitment.
Hey! Yeah I worked in retail for 28 years and was able to purchase 3 properties, one which I was living in. So I decided to purchase the van so I could rent my current property and experience the van life. I had intentions of renting the van at some point, but everything changed rapidly. So the goal is to generate income while it's getting wear and tear and sell it at some point.
Everythings "really great"
Great 👍
Wow, censorship ... okay for the right too eh?
Couldn’t watch this because of the annoying background music, sorry! Was looking forward to check out your van!
I know it's interesting, and I'm sure it makes good content, but sometimes I get tired of the over the top build outs.
It becomes more like Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.
Kind of like having a million dollar New York condo that you can take with you wherever you want.
All well and fine to look at, like a TV show, but I'm done after a short while.
I have a good mix of both.
I like them all! I love the creative DIYers that think outside the box and give me new ideas of how to do something, but I also enjoy the high end vans to see where I might want to splurge. And I only have a minivan :)
