    Nice tutorial. I like how you added the flex loom sheathing. Looks great. I use the stackable banana plugs so that if you are clipped onto ground , the same ground can be used for a scope or meter without disconnecting anything. Ive also added a banana plug to a set of lockable pliers (vicegrips). Makes a great ground clamp when needed.

      Perhaps try some heat & abrasion resistant woven ceramic sleeve. Never used it on a test light, but I've covered a lot of wiring near headers, etc.

    Speaking of modifying a test light, maybe you would know this.
    I was watching one of John Annello's videos and, somewhere, he mentions having replaced the test light bulb with a small halogen bulb, which makes it draw 4 A. I've been looking all over for an halogen that would fit in a test light and can't find nothing.
    Would you know what type of bulb he's referring to?

    • @JarheadDiagnostics
      @JarheadDiagnostics  Před 3 lety +1

      I do not. I personally use an 1157 socket.

    Left you a message on website under contact information. Did you get it? It was about how you have the KIT for this project priced then when you click on w or w/out test light the price is the same. I'm guess the with and without is if we want a test light already made up vs not made up?? Maybe you can clear that up plus the price before a with or without is selected.
    Just need the parts for it otherwise I'll check with Carlos @ aeswave a they make leads custom so my guess is they have some parts as well. Whether I have to buy in large qty is another question though.
    I also left a phone message at the phone number listed on your website.
