- This video is about a great pre-cruise hotel, Hotel Tiber, that I discover for the night before my Carnival Pride Europe (Mediterranean) Cruise from Civitavecchia, Rome! This completely makes my transition to Civitavecchia easy and stress-free.

If you're looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay before your Carnival Pride cruise, check out the Hotel Tiber. It's close to the airport, only a few minutes away from the Fiumicino airport and has all the comfort you need. And, best of all, getting to the port is a breeze. Plus, it's a great value for your money!
Hotel Tiber, located in Fiumicino center, is just 10 minutes from Fiumicino Airport. Rooms are modern and air-conditioned, with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have a sea view and a balcony. Guests can enjoy a rooftop terrace with a free swimming pool and a top-quality fish restaurant. An Italian breakfast is served buffet-style each morning."
Hotel Tiber is 30 minutes from Rome city center and 45 minutes by car from the port of Civitavecchia. They do offer a shuttle service for 6 euros per person to and from the airport, and downtown Rome train station.

Hotel Tiber rocks! There is a small fishing fleet across the street providing a glimpse of an old way of life. Stay a couple of nights and move on or stay as a base for a super Roma vacation!

Does it shuttle you to the Colosseum
It has a stop downtown but I am not sure where it goes. I’m thinking near the train station but I would check with the Hotel specifically for that information! They were pretty helpful. Enjoy your trip!
Do they speak english at the hotel?
Yes! There are a lot of Italian business people but they are fluent in English.
