SMA rides Akatarawa Forest Park - Co-op

Akatarawa Forest Park is a large expanse of forest covering the hills between the Kapiti Coast and the Hutt Valley. It is the home of the famous Karapoti Classic mountain bike race. Easiest access to Co-op is via Whareroa Farm, Kapiti Coast.
Trail marking on the map at the start of the vid is a rough estimate, it is no longer on Trail Forks. The start is well hidden and has numerous twists and turns once you're in the bush.
The track is a rooty slip feast when wet with lots of pinch climbs and techy downs. Cross country jungle riding if that's your thing.
