- We’re digging into our ET Vault and throwing it back to 1994, our first time with Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer on the set of ‘Friends.’ Watch as a young Aniston laughs off repeated interruptions, or ‘bits’ as her co-stars call them, while desperately trying to get through an interview with our ET correspondent. It is absolutely crazy to me that legitimately, the cast and crew had absolutely no idea just how big of a phenomenon this was going to be. You just take the job cause you either need it or like the script or both, hoping it won’t be cancelled right away and, BAM, that job ends up being one of the biggest shows of all time. Absolutely nuts. LOVE this show and this cast and always will!

Actually, at least according to Matthew Perry's book, they absolutely knew they were going to be HUGE. In fact, one of the producers/directors, told them that once the show agree, they'd be soooo famous that they wouldn't be able to walk around without fans doing whatever they could to talk to them or get an autograph

It's so unreal the way she handles the situation gracefully
honestly, I feel like the reason why this show is so big was because you can sense that there wasn't any bad blood between the stars. A show doesn't have that entertaining chemistry when actors don't like each other. Even though the actors not liking each other might not have been confirmed you can still in a way sense that there's something off. Often times, after a show has been aired and ended for a few years, rumours start to come out about a few actors not liking each other but it's been over 20 years since friends came out yet the 6 of them still hang out.
Friends is all time best. Don't think anything could come closer to that. One can watch it anytime and any number of times.
