Handiganur is a historical village in Haveri taluk and district of Karnataka. Desai Waade belongs to the Landlords Desai family, once they were the rulers of Handiganur Maha Samsthaana. In this Vaade (Big house complex) we can see the display of old photos, certificates and awards issued by the British and Indian goverments to this family. In 2003-04 famous television serial Moodala Mane was shot here for full episodes, telecasted in E TV Kannada.

Good one sir.. Nice picturization. Your videography has improved . I can see crisp shots . Btw the Sarveshwar temple was surpricing.i was not knowing about this chalukyan remains there. They have replaced old shivalinga and nandi.i can see shivalinga peetha thrown beside the temple wall outside. But luckily Vishnu and mahishasuramardini idols are very charming. These idols reflects there time back to chalukyan era. Definitely faboulous arts

Yeah...when I visited this handiganur waade at noon, no one was there to explain or show the complete house & I waited for hours to the owner of the house, but he was busy somewhere, that's why I could not cover the inside view of house.
