I haven't jumped on the slimline card bandwagon yet, but can see myself trying these minis. The larger ones seem to waste a lot of paper -- and I already have enough scraps.😀 Thanks for the quick/easy policy envelope demonstration, too. I always forget how easy it is to make one.

So cute. I made some mini slimlines and found that they fit in check- sized (3 1/2x6 1/2) envelopes, game changer and time saver! Now my new favorite card to make for fund raisers.

I’ve been wanting to make a mini for awhile. When I 1st saw them about a year ago, I wasn’t a fan. Now that I’ve seen more of them I can see myself making them. I don’t know if I will make more of these than slim lines, for me I love the real estate you get with a slim line but A2 size is great too. Thank you for sharing !
This mini slimline card is really cute. I just made a regular slimline card using the Cricut. Now I have to make the mini slimline cards. Thanks for the video and measurements. I will be sharing this with my SIL.
The scallop punch is my favorite punch, besides the regular corner rounder punch. I really like your "homemade" envelope! I have to try this size card and that envelope! Thanks for sharing this idea, Maymay!

I love this size. I have made these for years. Mostly because that is the size envelopes I often had. I can make my own envelopes, but sometimes I am in a hurry.

I made mini Slimline cards when it wasn't cool. In fact I had a difficult time with adjusting to A2. Those envelopes are what we called letter envelopes (am I dating myself?). We were even taught how to properly fold a letter for those envelopes. So now I can use up my inherited letter envelopes. 😉
Now I'm waiting for the comments asking you for an "As many as..." using 6x6 or 12x12 paper packs for these mini slim lines.. Seriously, they are super cute. I never considered slim lines before, but now I am. Thank you for showing this. I have a ton of 6x6 pads I need to use up.. I keep getting them, then keep forgetting to use them. Also have a couple Mintay 6x8s I can use too. Yay

I wanted to come back and thank you. For years I've been making A2 sizes, but the mini slimline cards have helped me effectively use up a ton of unused one-sided 6 x 6 paper and the standard envelopes are perfect and don't need extra postage. I've been making simple batch cards. Sentiments work well with out too much more fuss. Doing batch cards also help me figure out consistency with my measurements. Other wise it takes me sooo long for one card.
Oh my gosh, I too love this little size! it's Adorable! Thanks for the full 411! I get your reasonings BUT looking on the sunny side... using your size you can use 6X6 Patterned papers and get two card fronts leaving a nice white mat or border and 8 card fronts out of a 12X12!! I've seen them but your excitement about them has inspired me to go and play!
I love the mini slimline card. I would use a 32lb paper to make the envelope. It is a little stronger then a regular sheet of paper. Thanks Maymay for the video. May be my new fav too!

I haven’t been on your videos for sometime but when I saw this envelope making video I just had to see how you did it and may I say, it seems very easy and it would save a lot of money from buying a box of them. I would have to get myself a scorer and one of those scorer sticks too to be able to make my own. Sometimes there are times when I need an envelope and the ones I have are either too big or too small and then I’m out of an envelope. Mini slimelines are adorable and it's nice because you probably have a number 6 3/4 envelope at the house.
