    The mini slimline are my new favourite size of card. Love the envelope die, makes it so easy, and on wait list for crayons. 🌍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🌍

    I was curious about the mailing sizes for the mini slim lines so I did a Google search and here’s what I found:
    To be mailed at a regular letter mailing cost, a rectangular piece has to be at least 3 1/2 inches high. If your envelope is only 3.25 inches high, it will probably end up costing you more postage

      @RebeccaKeppel  Před 3 lety

      I usually end up putting more postage on my cards anyway because they tend to be extra heavy, odd sizes etc.

    On the daffodils, the background looks like a chain link fence. Cool

      I really like that panel die! It reminds me of a trellis!

    Hi Rebecca! I too am catching the Mimi slim fever. Wondering if u have tried making slim envelopes with paper vs cardstock? I found the slimline (not mini) envelopes pretty stiff and heavy and requiring added postage. Heard some folks used paper, so do want to try that at least. Also wondering about using scor tape vs runner on envelopes in general as some slimline cardstock envelopes made weeks ago with tape runner seem to be coming loose and don’t want that happening in mail! Thanks for your help!!

    • @RebeccaKeppel
      @RebeccaKeppel  Před 3 lety

      Right, they are so addicting?!
      I did find the Waffle Flower patterned paper I used on the second envelope a little thinner. Generally I like to use the 8.5x11 cardstock simply because I have a TON of it lol.
      I bet scor tape would work great if your tape runner is not staying stuck. One other thing you can try is to use a bone folder over the edges with the tape. Sometimes the extra pressure helps to keep them in place!

    I really like the mini slimline. The daffodil stamp/die is going on my wish list. Are any companies making dies for the mini slimline cards like they have for the regular slimline?

    Why is the size of the envelope smaller than a card? What is the correct measurement for mini slim line card? Thank you.

    What weight of paper do you use for your mini slimline envelopes?
