You guys all did it wrong and wasted of time to clean it and you still could not clean it thru,,,the greasy are nasty and sticky like crazy glue
Do this:
get Kitchen degreaser (Costco sells a yellow pair very strong degreaser that it sticks to your skin you will fee itchy), wash the baffle filters by hot water if you have time otherwise, just spray the degreaser into the baffle filters,,,make sure cover everything, leave the degreaser absorb to the grease for 10-15 minutes
Now , get yourself an electric pressure water washer (sun joe one 1.8GPM 1800PSI strong enough), now start spray your pressure water onto the fill degreaser baffle filters ,,,in 30 minutes you will see how clean it is
Got it everyone?? spray degreaser onto baffle filters, use electric pressure water pressure to spray ,,,magic magic!!
How do you put the grates back in?
Umm how do you take them out and put them back in? You didn't show that
Hi, Thank You for your comment! This exhaust fan has the Trays laying on top of a internal groove to hold it in place. No clips or screws just lift and slide out. Maybe different, depending on the model.
Kind of nasty. I would spray the paper towel then wipe the heavy stuff off of the unit, then once its kind of clean , then spray it down. The way you did it all that nasty oil is dripping down onto everything under the unit. Also I would be taking the baffles outside to clean or perhaps the dishwasher...
