I'd also like to mention that none of the naration provided by my son was prompted by me. It was heavily inspired by Stanley Parables and I edited his clips but that was mostly just him being awesome all on his own.

great, looked like a baseball bat at first glance.
see you have retrofitted a DRO on the Z axis! I had that before on my PD250/e but somehow the approaches were missing, can you make a video there?.
    Greetings from Germany

I apologize, I had said I would make abuild video for the Z axis scales and then never did. I made a quick, short video cover how I ended up mounting them and how acurate they have been. Hopefully that's what you're looking for. Thanks for watching and make sure Germany keeps making great equipment. i'm putting you in charge of that!

I wonder if inhaling into the whistle instead of exhaling would have different effect

It turns out it was a reusable straw after all!

@@makerunderground Might just me being paranoid but I'm not sure I'd use either 303 or brass as a straw. I've read that it's not food safe but don't have a reference to anything official.
Anyway, keep the videos coming 'cause they're great!

@@ifitrollsrideit530 the straw thing was a bit of a joke. That being said, I have redesigned these to be 304/6Al4v so only food safe materials are used in the airway. I've also switched the ornamental metal to silicon bronze to reduce the risk of any kind of lead contact. There will be an update video eventually. Thanks for the feedback, all the same.

@@makerunderground That's great. Any tips on machining tougher metals like 304 or Ti on a small lathe are always appreciated. I generally steer clear of Ti. I'd love to use it more but I'm scared of turning it on my PD250/e.

@@ifitrollsrideit530 sorry I haven't responded to this message. I've actually decided to make a video on this topic, probably in the next few days. I'll be sure to let you know when it's out!
