- I this video we make a small mill pallet that can be repeatably located in the mill vise or on the rotary table. It can also just be bolted to the X/Y table.
We do break a tap and go on a few other adventures in this video.

Nice work. We shared this video on our homemade tools forum this week 😎
Yes, I always notice and appreciate the bump from your site when you share my videos.
At one point you had said I might be able to get a free account on your site. My family was struggling with some things that were keeping me from CZcams and I didn't respond right away, but I'd definitely be interested, if that offer still stands.
You can reach me here or at makerunderground@yahoo.com if you need to.
Thanks for the share, as always!
Nice.
You can find smaller clamps with Proxxon 24256 for more space.
Yeah, I've looked at those too. I opted to buy a much larger set with different sizes, but I didn't realize they were just large clamps with smaller slots in them. Kind of annoying. I almost bought the Proxxon set just to finish the video, but I think I have plan to make my own going.
Looks perfect and shiny to me 👍😎👍
I like the vise stop. Didn't you make a video of that some time ago??
Nice job on the tap removal. I removed broken taps frequently in support of the CNC dept. We found that ball end mills gave us the best results, and tool life.
That makes sense! Get rid of the fragile corners and spread the load across a longer cutting edge.
I always hate trying to plunge a ball end mill at work (swiss CNC) due to the clearance at the tip but I was feeding so lightly here anyway, I'm sure you wouldn't even hear it sing.
Thanks for the advice!
And now you need some little mini pallet toe clamps instead of all those big monsters! I'll be looking forward to seeing the video for the toe clamps.
I agree completely. I didn't know they were going to be so chunky when I ordered them.
I've got some other stuff planned for the near future but we'll have to make some cool clamps eventually.
Great video and very good craftsmanship. I enjoyed every minute. 😊
