Thank you! I bought a Big Shot last year but need a wider one now too, so have just purchased the Big Shot Plus. I didnt realise the plates are slightly different for a sandwich due to powerful rollers...great for my intricate dies. Just for interest, I still have the first Sizzix die cutter, not the converter piece anymore, and a my Bigz dies from 15 or more years ago!!
Sizzix needs to add a category on their website for the larger dies and embossing folders. I refuse to go page after page looking for them.
You can search "Textured Impressions Plus" or "Embossing Plus" on the Sizzix.com site and they will pull up for you.

I just received my big shot plus and when it goes thru it became really hard to go thru and it sounds like it going to break the two like glass plates

Hey, the Big Shot Plus comes with a platform and cutting pads as standard, you can also purchase as a starter kit where you'll also receive dies and cardstock. Happy crafting!

I just bought Sizzix Big Shot Plus
But there seem to be a problem
When I use adapter A they doesn't fit in the opening of the machine and there's no cardstock and cutting dies yet 🙄

Are these machines good for fabric only as I would want to make bunting with the letters appliqued on. I would not be interested in the fact they can cut papers and cards that type of craft has never appealed to me.

(1) Will this work with faux leather and Ultrasuede? (2) Are we limited to the die designs that come with the unit, or can we design our own?
Hello, for the use of faux leather and Ultrasuede, we would only recommend using our Sizzix bigz dies, and these dies are only sold as part of the machine started kit.
I bought a Big Shot Plus a few months ago. Recently I started making Slimline cards and cutting them on my Big Shot, but my base cards keep coming out warped. I’ve used 65 lb paper, then 80 lb paper, but the result is the same. Why is this happening? What can I do to fix this problem?

Can Accucut Dies work with this machine?
Love my big shot but it’s stopped cutting my fabric ( Bigz 2.5” strips) I don’t use it tons - mostly for binding and only fabric. Notice it’s not the usual pressure ….. help someone please 🙏

@@sizzix thanks. I got a tip to put some thin cardboard or similar under the Bigz. I used the thinner adapter card and that worked. I guess it has flattened a little. Cuts perfectly now thank you 🙏
Hello may I know how thick is the platform exactly ? Is it like 2cm?

Helloo, I switched from my normal sized BS to the BS Plus, one reason was the pressure should be higher. I still have problems with some super intricate dies but I can't use the Precision Base Plate in my Plus? Can I use a metal adaptor in my Plus? I don't find any informations about that. TIA
Lass, i bought the precision base plate for my plus, even though it is for the big shot normal, i just don't put in one of the cutting plates.
when i create the sandwich for cutting framelits(adapter A) its not passings through the machine ..please give me a solution for it.

sizzix you don’t understand? really? i mean that the pressure is supposed to be exactly the same no matter where the die is placed . that is what was said when i bought mine. is this true? and if so, why didn’t you mention this in your video?
Not sure why you have called this Tips and tricks. All it is doing is showing a basic die cutting and Embossing folder. No new tips....... how to emboss using dies.......... how to emboss using 3D folders............ how to emboss using sissix plates (old ones).... gold foiling ....... oh so many things the machine can do but no instructions or "tips" for doing this

Any felt will work! Sizzix Bigz dies will cut anything scissors can cut.
