Last living Māori Battalion revisits Monte Cassino battle site

The 80th commemorations for the battle of Monte Cassino started yesterday in Italy with the only survivor of the 28th Māori Battalion at the forefront. At 99 years old, he has once again made the trip all the way to the city of Cassino to commemorate his fallen comrades.
