    Best tennis coach on YT 💯
    I saw lots of comments that are very negative about the production (video focus etc.), but I would rather watch not so good production but has extremely good content than an ultra hd video with mediocre content.

    What as awesome trainer! I am amazed how many professional players are having issues with the technique, awful service actions especially on WTA. like they were never told how to hit a proper shot. I had also bad experiences in Germany with couple of trainers which are more or less ball machines instead of coaches. No wonder why so few players are making a real progress. Valuable trainers are hard to find and there is not a way to award the performance apart from the social networks. And so I decided on selfteaching which helped to a certain degree and of course I am grateful for any help like yours. Thank you!

      @@ironwilltennis I already changed my one hand backhand from a weak loopy one hand backhand that had no bite and was looping 3-7 feet high in the air turned it a big flat backhand that rockets the ball up to 80- 100 mph through the court traveling at only a few inches to 1-3 feet over the net. I added the buggy whip finish to my backhand. And now big penetrating sidespin or flat slice groundstrokes are now possible instead of just doing the normal L-Finish hover Slice to skim the net.

      @@ironwilltennis Yes. Because you color coded the hitting pattern. If yellow is nuetral and red and green directional change for 3+1 or 4+1 or back to nuetral you can clearly see the battle for control or loss of it. So clever to bring the TCM application 🙌 into the mix when you did. Illustrates what you are trying to do to the other person and the purpose of the concepts your providing to us (your viewers). That's not something other channels have provided in a single session. Or explained in a clear and concise way..Colors allow you to see real time and not have to visualize in your head what your content is delivering. Like i said! I love it. So yes, yes, yes. May I ask the difference between heavy ball and moon ball (especially on this video).

    • @ironwilltennis
      @ironwilltennis  Před rokem

      They can be 1 and the same, but heavy refers to applying an excessive amount of spin where as moon ball refers more to the height and trajectory of the flight path. You can have high or low heavy ball for example.

  • @rds4629
    @rds4629 Před rokem +1

    hmm... so I'm either a type 2 pusher or an aggressive contact pressurizer :) probably more aggro than pusher b/c I do want to go to the net if I force a short ball, but I need to practice and learn the time pressure by flattening out the swing path on my FH. I honestly hit more vertical b/c if I'm nervous I trust it to land in and have a huge target like a 5x5 foot square in the corner. BTW, you should add where you coach (assuming you have space to take on new students.)

    • @ironwilltennis
      @ironwilltennis  Před rokem

      Safety of targets is always one of the main reasons people play with more shape. Nothing wrong with that, you just have to know how to change gears when needed

    • @ironwilltennis
      @ironwilltennis  Před rokem

      It sounds like in the second set you've adjusted to the type of pressure that your opponent like to apply. (Like finally getting a read on the serves or where they like to attack from on the court) once you get there your match evens out and points go both ways a little even. The goal is to shorten how long it takes you to make this adjustment so you can tighten up the gap in the first set and make them feel more like they barely made it through if by some chance they win the set, they are thinking "now I have to do that all over again 🥵" and you can spend more time coming up with a way to get ahead rather than catch up. I hope this helped. I could only answer based off the little info I had without seeing you play
