Case 59: Amy Lynn Bradley

- DESCRIPTION
In the autumn of 1998, 23-year-old Amy Lynn Bradley was told by her parents that they had been gifted a Caribbean cruise. Amy wasn’t excited by the news like they were, she had only just moved into her own apartment after graduating from her degree in Physical Education, and she was about to start a new job.
She was busy. But more than that, the idea of a cruise across the sea gave her the creeps. She didn’t really want to go. She would be just as happy settling into her new place, which was nearby her parents and brother’s home in Chesterfield, Virginia…

I have to say that Amy's father's boss really stepped up. It also shows you what he thought of Amy's father.
Its really sad that this happened on a cruise ship. Very scary. That guy Named Yellow was involved. Hope one day they will get answers what happened to Amy
How sad and bad all these people who take advantage of the families of missing or murdered people.
And how sad the surviving siblings of missing or murdered people. For more than one reason.
Thank you, CASEFILE for your excellent work.
Apparently the crew didn't care Amy was missing, including the Captain. Having good PR was more important than a human life.
Either that, or they were getting a cut of the profits from the traffickers.
I think stopping and searching would be better for pr
What horrific torture this family went through all this time.
The most telling bit of information in this case is the fact that her photos were missing. 100% the staff on the ship were involved with trafficking, which is why the waiters tried to lure her off the ship to go drinking and the bass player also tried to. They took her photos because this was the best short term “advertisement of goods” for whoever runs the operation. I’m not sure she’s alive now, but she was definitely alive for a few years after her disappearance.
Wouldn't the FBI/CIA have resources that could pinpoint her whereabouts?
@@markkofi8522not really, it’s not like people are very public about it. Not that it’s impossible but I imagine extremely hard
If any crew member had acted so unprofessionally and inappropriately towards my daughter I'd have thrown them overboard. Alarm bells should have been ringing as soon as this initial incident occurred. The cruise line is only interested in selling its product and maintaining its image for future customers. Their indifference is disturbing and hints at complicity.
I can’t believe how much our own legal system has dropped the ball on this one. Ruling that she’s there of her own accord is like saying a robbery victim handed over his money of his own accord. If this were a congressman’s kid it would have gone differently, starting with the ship captain.
When he said Amy's photo was missing from the gallery on the ship, I thought human trafficking. This is such a devastating story.
Cristal Tucker I reckon :/. It has to be. So sad. I went on a cruise w my hubby not long after hearing about this case and I was terrified. They are the worst place to go missing because the law is so murky when you’re out on the ocean.
@Jewels inSD becuase how else is a trafficker going to obtain a clean high quality photo of a victim they might not know the name of. And honestly im thinking about the implications it could have beem used by abductors to target victims. Hey. You... Find this person (produces a photo of a person wearing clothes they might wear on a future day of cruise). Jesus christ
@Jewels inSD cause probably they have been showed to someone interested on buyin a young anerican girl
@Jewels inSD Exactly
Because the traffickers are in cahoots with the ship’s photographer? 😂😂
Amy's instinct was correct...Dont Go
Wow yes ur so right, her intuition was telling her, something bad might Happen, incredibly interesting information on the regulations on cruise ships
Intuition is usually correct.
You really go into full detail of your videos. I’ve found out more about this case here than I have anywhere else.
Thank you
Your research is so in depth that it continues to astound me. Amazing work thank you and please continue to uphold such high standards.
I am virtually certain that Amy was the victim of human sex trafficking and I am sending my love to her and her family, and my highest hopes that Amy is alive....and that she may escape, or ideally already be free. Blessed be, so mote it be.
This poor family. My heart goes out to them. So scary. This is why I have never and will never take a cruise anywhere. I hope that one day they have the answers they need to bring some peace to their hearts.
So cruise ships are the only place people mysteriously disappear from? What about the lady snatched from the 5 star resort last year after she went to go buy something? What about the countless women who left nightclubs and were never heard from again?
@@amandadean3948 Get off your high horse Amanda!!
@@amandadean3948 calm down nobody is saying cruise ships are the only ones with crime!
This story brought me to tears. That poor woman and her poor family.
This is the best podcast on this case. I felt the FBI dropped the ball in the beginning especiallynot interviewing the key leads. For a missing person case, this seems to have the most leads and a severe lack of follow up from the authorities and sense of urgency. I believe she could and should have been found between 1998 to 2005. Including the Naval officer that didn' help her and he waited 2 years to say something. Also that picture of Amy in 2005 is horrifying. When you juxtapose that picture with one from 1998 and you can literally see the life that she once had was gone. It's absolutely terrible and sad.
Traffickers, people that use their services, and that idiot that pretended he was looking for Amy for cash, are scum of the earth. Frightening to think how many garbage people there are in the world :(
This is the most informative video on this case.
After extensive research… I’m almost positive Amy was taken off that ship. I’m almost positive the weirdo waiter who wanted to take her to the Aruba club and “yellow” were paid off.. possibly drugged her and handed her off. She has identified herself multiple times in hopes to be rescued. Im pretty certain if she fell, she would’ve hit the lifeboats that were under their patio… hence leading to forensic evidence…
Incredible detail. This is a huge cut above the average podcast on this case.
TY for providing more details than I have yet heard. One other guy proposes that she fell into the water. Your theory sounds more plausible.
I wasnt ever going to get on a cruise ship to begin with, now you'll have to kill me first. I knew that the laws were confusing on international waters, but in reality they are far more ridiculous. Basically no one had to help them at all. The people who did had to cut through all the yellow tape. I've been looking for a more in depth podcast about this. You did a fantastic job.
Once your kidnapped the chances of finding you are zero..... It wouldn’t have mattered
Yeah I know, once she was taken off the cruise ship the chances were almost zero. However there have been victims of kidnapping that have been rescued/gotten away- rare yes but it does happen and because it can and does happen is exactly why it matters 😉
haha!
"yellow tape"..?
think you mean
RED tape.
a lot of people automatically go to human trafficking in unsolved cases, but in this case- I really DO think thats what it is. The weird acting band members, her photos going missing, the MULTIPLE sightings with very specific info to Amy- this one really seems like it can be solved. Or at least the leads shouldnt stop coming. How are most updates from as old as 2005 and seemingly no more after that?
Amy Bradley was trafficked the parents and the FBI confirmed she was sold into slavery.....
@@joanmarie7631 thats literally what i said ma
Great coverage! You did a great job reporting the details. Probably the best one I’ve heard! Very sad case though
Having travelled all my life, 1st with my parents & later by myself.
Sometimes as a method of getting from A to B i would travel by ship, also as a holiday on cruises to many places thoughout our planet & ive never known a ship that allowed crew or waiting staff or whatever barring maybe a few high ranking officers who'd dine at different tables with passengers at evening meal but never really fraternising with passengers.
Crew attending onboard parties is, was just never done, never allowed so hearing of crew doing so on this ship in this video makes me gawp in astonishment!
Ive never heard the like before!
Cheers All fr 🇬🇧
It’s very common hundreds of people go missing from cruises they don’t make it to the media.... You don’t hear about most missing cases
This is the video that the other youtubers steal info from. It's a shame that they have more exposure. This is truly a detailed description with some research being done.
I never heard of this story until I watched a CZcamsr with 5million subs did a story on it.The video has over 5million views so thats alot of people who now know this story! The CZcamsr also sent us to this video! I look at it as a better chance of her being found or finding out what happened to her. We also got the link to the FBI.
@@jenniferorlandoludwig7145 as I was saying, this channel does real research and invests serious time. The massive channels make all the money and plagerize other channels and sources. I just wish that channels like this, or cold podcast, lordon arts, etc make the real money, to compensate them for their efforts. The other channels just spend their money on make up and better lighting
Would have been great to have brought a massive lawsuit against rc and the especially the captain of the ship.
Agreed. They lost her when the captain let everyone off the ship because the search area grows exponentially every day.
Good luck with that though.
There’s no way in hell I’d ever go on a cruise after everything you hear about them it’s not worth the risk
The comments that act like yellow is inoccent and she just “fell off” disgust me
Ikr, like how dumb can a person fucking be this is just shocking, royal Caribbean Cruise will never have my money
Best podcast on this I've heard
Super sad case. I can't help but feel she was kidnapped and sold into slavery.
Excellent channel,the best actually.
Lou Costello Is the name of the ship security chief? Perfect! They have a real "Abbott and Costello" operation.
@Andrew Phillips agree
I am binge listening to all your good work.
So glad you are covering this case.
Seems clear she was trafficked.
I love cruising but i am always astounded how relaxed people seem to get.
Obviously holidays are for relaxing but i see 8 yr olds wandering the ship at night without adults.Wth?
I don't let my 14 yr old out til all hours....on land so im baffled by the different rules some apply for the ocean.
Would you consider Rachel Barbers case to cover?
Finally a thorough story . Every other CZcams ch covering cases like this one are thoughtless and short in detail . I’ve noticed a lot of ch like buzz feed make all these types of stories comical.. which is highly offensive.
Great documentary and touching story...
I suffer from severe motion sickness and have never had a desire to go on a cruise. Hearing about the laws on cruises definitely makes me not want to go on one.
I can imagine the heart ache for a moment but for the rest of your life NO WAY. For the parents I'm truly sad for & their heart ache.Amy I'm truly concerned for her safety and know she soooooooo desperately wants someone to help her.😩😬
You're legit amazing. I'd love to work for you. I've been interested in crime and gore since I was 16 when my uncle was murdered by his wife and her boyfriend. Its been 10 years now. I have university degree in English and I know 5 languages and the cultures of them as well to make it even more international. Either way, I'm going to continue to listen to your awesome podcasts. Keep up the good work!!
Wow 5 languages I’m British and I know - English and drunk jibberish haha fair play to you!
This case disturbed me it was just horrific this young woman had her life ahead of her poor girl in the blink of an eye her whole world and family were torn apart ..
This is why I will not, nor ever allow my family, to vacation on a cruise ship. Scary things happen on the open seas.
If you take some precautions, keep your ears and eyes open, and never be alone while on a cruise ship, use the buddy system, you'll be safe.
Happens more often than we know.
It's always females never males.
The crew members are involved 100% or a group of them.
These females are drugged smuggled off the boat and given to the traffickers and they are paid well.
Amy did not fall or jump overboard for those of you who think that. She was spotted many times on the island after her abduction being guarded by many men. She gave her name to the few ppl that she was able to come in contact with and who spoke english but by the time anything could be done it was always too late to locate her. Her pic was also found on an adult website a few yrs back so hopefully she is still alive today and is able to safely get home to her family.
I really doubt she's still alive. If she was human trafficked in 1998 at the age of 23, twenty-two years ago, they most likely won't use her anymore now. So sad, but true.
Sweet thought but no. If it was sex trafficking they abduct and drug those girls up. Once they’re all “used up” and no longer have value to them they don’t just let them go. Why would they? It’s too risky
"Yellow" is the man.
The evidence is strong.
The crime is why was he overlooked
Devastating story
......omg :(
Did you just say Amy unpacked 9 pairs of shoes?! Amy and I have alot in common.
Yea that's a lot of shoes lol.
1998, you say? Gosh here I thought the FIB was only corrupt over the last 12 years or so...
Dont go on cruise ships at all costs, so many dangers
I have always wanted to go on a cruise to go whale watching. Not anymore, that is no longer on my bucket list. How anyone can believe that Amy is not the victim of a crime just boggles my mind. No way she committed suicide, nor did she accidently fall overboard. The sheer number of people who didn't do their jobs properly and those that blatantly lied to take advantage of Amy's family should actually make people feel utter contempt for those that committed those atrocities. I actually believe that Amy and her family will never receive the justice they should. My heart and prayers go out to Amy, her friends and especially to her family. Personally I would like to see Royal Carribean Cruise Lines go bankrupt. However before that I would like to see that Cruise Line be held accountable for what happened to Amy, and any other person that disappeared from ANY of their cruises. In my opinion that is the only way justice will be served.
How horrible 😢
Did the FBI trace the email that sent her parents that picture? I honestly dont know what to believe. Either way its very sad.
Ive just recently heard of this.Im in UK.I wondered what her father did for a living as his employer seemed to have limitless funds. Also,on a google search,it said her brother said she was going off ship for cigarettes?Dont know if that is just made up because you cant pop on and off a ship when you feel like it,she left her shoes too.Very strange story.
youtube protects the whereabouts of amy
Just thinking.....in case she was kidnapped, she has no possibillity to do a phone call or try to escape or whatever in all this years?
👏👏👏
Oh no! Not Carlos and Charlie's!
I’d never go on a cruise , no way so much dodgy shit happens or if I did wouldn’t go with a new husband I just met lol and only with like two friends making sure one was a big make just to lose odds and wouldn’t be slow dancing with no strangers etc too risky - bet that “yellow “ said to meet at a certain time - confused why she didn’t take her shoes - also did she have a mobile probably now actually

Missing 411 case maybe not first person go missing on cruise ships.
i dont think amy was abducted. it would be impossible getting her off the ship. i think she fell overboard. she was very drunk that morning, and people do crazy things when drunk, plus, why would she leave her shoes on the balcony, and go walking around the ship with no shoes on.
Bro it is very possible because it’s clear the ships crew and captain were in on it they snuck her off the ship without her family knowing it’s very easy cause none of the other passengers knew she was missing. So somone snuck her off that ship and she’s now being sexual tourtured
They already said they took linen in big containers on and off the ship and could easily get past customs it says so near the beginning
Because she didn't have a choice? If someone kidnaps you they aren't exactly gonna wait for you to get your shoes on.
Mono tone
WHY THIS EASY CASE STILL A MYSTERY ? She fell to ocean from the their cabin balcony. (Bradley's father, Ron, saw her sleeping on the cabin balcony. ) .Why she fell off to the ocean ? Either accident (Drunk from party) or pushed by somebody , ------ and this " somebody "is not difficult to guess , IN SHORT: She disappeared in their own family private balcony which is face the ocean
Learn english and then post your BS
There was a video of her still alive in the lift with the band guy that morning, she didnt stay on the balcony
@@reesewithoutaspoon So glad when someone has intelligence to see what's not 'normal'....I myself would wonder WHY anyone would want her photo? The officials obviously are aware of the trafficking and illegal activities associated w/this area...IMO they are probably complicit to turn the other cheek....for payola.
@@reesewithoutaspoon I BELIEVE so...TOO tight a situation to have so many chips fall into place so conveniently. And AD being a somewhat 'fixture' on this boat, has ample opportunity to scout....so much evil in this world. And trafficking is the Biggest moneymaking activity worldwide.
She fell overboard. Some how, some way, we will never know. But there are several clues that point to this that are ignored. Her shoes are still on the balcony. Why walk around the ship shoeless? She told her brother she was sick and tired. Her dad was startled awake by “something”. Why would she go party more after saying she was sick and tired? How was she kidnapped so quickly during such a short time period? How can you kidnap a woman in broad daylight who is vacationing with her parents? Who you’ve been seen with all night long the night before? Honestly, I’m shocked at how fast this innocent man was blamed for this, with no evidence at all. How do you all know he’s a sex trafficking kidnapper? Because he danced with her? That’s a huge leap, when there’s absolutely nothing there.
@Raising The Reeps...there's nothing to say she didn't grab another pair of shoes to leave her cabin in which explains why her shoes were left outside! The shoes she had taken off a few hours before and which were left outside on the deck were more than likely suitable evening shoes (she'd spent the previous night and small hours dancing) but not necessarily suitable for day wear. She'd taken 9 pairs with her so possibly grabbed another, more comfortable, suitable pair for whatever and wherever she was planning on going that early morning. I know I don't wear the same shoes to go out partying as I do to go and meet someone during the day for a coffee. If this Yellow character was the very last person to see and spend time with her and he's been behaving oddly ever since, then of course he will be getting looked into.
Look at the picture on that website ! It is her, thus she did NOT fall overboard 😏
Couldn't agree more! I'm glad someone with some common sense finally said something. It's almost as if everyone wants her to have been kidnapped/trafficked. No offense to this woman, but she wasn't exactly gorgeous. Why take such a risk just to take her? In order for someone to take her from a cruise ship then basically a miracle would have had to occured in order for NO ONE to see her or see someone taking her away and off the ship. Either that or the entire crew would have had to have been in on it, and neither scenario is realistically possible. Also, how many other women have been kidnapped from a cruise ship in that area? Zero? What makes her so special? Nothing, thats what, because she wasn't kidnapped. She wasn't killed and hidden away somewhere. She didn't fall asleep on the balcony for 5 minutes and then got up to sneak off somewhere. It's not a conspiracy here, people. It's actually quite simple, she fell over somehow. Case closed.
@@MissLibra-ce8qe Agree...also, if she did feel "sick" maybe she went to grab some coffee...which is supposedly what she was seen doing w/Yellow. It's so clear what logically happened. The after-sightings are so convincing....def trafficked. And I wouldn't doubt if the cruise officials have a 'cut' for their lack of response. The idiot below who claims she's not "gorgeous"...what stupidity.
Aaron S. Good point because no one else was missing from the ship just her
